ITS RED NOSE DAY❤️

Today we’re not just having a laugh with our red noses, we’re also supporting a fantastic cause! Red Nose Day helps raise funds for children in need, providing help with basics no child should be without such as, Shelter, food, education and uniforms.

While you are out there showing off your red noses, it’s a great reminder to take a closer look at the world around you and think about the things we may take for granted such as our health❤️

Most people don’t keep up with their eye exams once they are told they don’t need glasses as they assume it’s only about having a prescription however that is not the case, eye health isn’t just about correcting your vision if you need it. It’s about attending those regular check ups and allowing our optician to catch any eye conditions early and check the general health of your eyes❤️

How can I help with Red Nose Day?

- Wear a red nose today and spread awareness on the importance of children in need.

HAPPY LAST FRIDAY OF THE MONTH✨

As we say goodbye to February, we get ready to welcome March the official month of SPRING!!!💛

That means more sunshine🌞flowers and greenery starts to bloom🌷💐
More sunshine means brighter days and the need for more protection for your eyes👁👁

Too much exposure to UV over time can contribute to the development of cataracts, even on the cloudier days when it’s overcast around 80% of UV rays can pass through clouds!!

Just like your skin, your eyes can get sunburned. Overexposure to UV can damage the surface of your eyes, leading to a condition called PHOTOKERATITIS👀

Did someone say transitional lenses… YES!! WE DID🤗
Transitional lenses are an additional coating that can be added to any prescription lenses. Within 10-15 seconds of being exposed to UV your glasses will change from normal clear glasses to full sunnies!!! When not exposed to UV they will change back in 10-15 seconds to clear lenses.
