Janet Lucy Berry
It is with great sadness that the family of Janet Berry announces her passing on June 23rd, 2025, at the age of 76. Much loved aunt to Ian and Neil, sister-in-law to Sue and long-time friend and companion to Trevor.
A cremation service will be held at the Rowan Chapel, Stockport Crematorium on July 29th at 10.45 a.m., then a service of celebration of Jan’s life at Heaton Mersey Methodist Church at 11.45 a.m. followed by refreshments in the church hall. All are welcome to any part of the day.

LASTING MEMORIALS

Recently we had the pleasure of meeting photographer and artist Dylan Collard.

Dylan has released the first look of his latest project "Collections".

Dylan says, "Collections is a project which focuses on creating life portraits of people by photographing the objects and treasures they have acquired over a lifetime. It's a celebration of someone's life through objects that mark their hobbies, loves, idiosyncrasies and individuality."

This particular image was commissioned by the family of two greatly missed Grandparents. Items which had been shared out between family members for safe keeping were gathered together for this tribute.

And we thought that this is a tender and beautiful way to capture the essence of a person before the items are lost to history. Or perhaps, if you are holding onto the items in memory of somebody special, it's a lovely way to display them altogether (in one easy to dust artifact!).
