Sometimes you need to get lost to find your way…

I’ve been self employed for over ten years.

Holistic Therapies, natural skincare, healing herbs & supplements have been my personal passion for over 35 years and I’m so proud of myself that after a long and successful career in hospitality I built a business built on these principles.

I’m so proud to have worked with some of the best therapists and practitioners in this field.

I’m so proud to have made wonderful connections and friendships with my much loved clients.

I’m so grateful.

However, over the last few years life events and menopause have changed me.

Profoundly.

So, after feeling lost and unsure what’s next, and the reality of life as I head towards my 50’s, I’ve decided to make a huge leap and to return to full time employment in a quest to find out who Lucy’s going to be in this next chapter.

I’ll still be at on Sundays, so I’m not gone, just refocused.

I’d personally like to thank for her kindness and understanding as I’ve made this very quick decision.

The main focus here is the lovely Raluca’s eyes and eyebrow lift.
Firstly you can clearly see the reduction in the line between her brows, not only its length but its depth.
Even more impressively is the lifting and smoothing of the eyes. Be gone drooping eyelids. Take that crows feet.

Her skin is intentionally pink, through massage and the Gua Sha and cupping techniques I use I’m bringing blood to the top layers of her dermis to oxygenate and bring nutrients into the skin.

What you can’t see here though is that her her nervous system is calmed and refreshed, her blood pressure has lowered and her brain waves have been altered to a more calming state and she has released natural endorphins all by touch and massage. To me this is where holistic treatments stand out superior because not only are you getting a physical glow up, your whole being gets one too.

This was a 60min Gua Sha facial treatment and costs £60.

This is my gorgeous bestie Pollyanna.
I have treated just one side of her face.
Can you tell which?

Looking at this image Polly’s right side is before and the left is the after.
I’ve used manual massage, Gua Sha and cupping. You can clearly see a reduction in lymph fluid which has slimmed the face, lifted the jaw line, cheek and eye and it’s almost completely removed her nasal fold. This took 20mins.

The more you do this, the better the results.

Yuletide blessings.

Magic Yuletide herbal brew: (play around with spices to your own taste but this is how I’ve made mine and it’s YUMMY)
Clove x6
Cardamom x6 (crushed)
Cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon
Grated fresh nutmeg 1/2 teaspoon
Honey 1 teaspoon.
Lemon juice 1/3 of a lemon. (Or oranges)
Brew for 10 mins
Sip with love and make magnificent spells. ✨

The perfect pre party facial. 🎄

This particular facial is called the non surgical face lift for good reason. Very different from the Gua Sha/Cupping facial.
A slow, firm intricate technique covering all facial acupressure points, bringing blood flow and nutrients to the top layers of the dermis whilst toning and firming skin. Also encourages facial muscles to get perky giving a more contoured lifted look.

This morning I wrote you a story, hope you like it.

Years ago before you and I were a twinkle in our daddy’s eye there lived a woman.
She lived alone in a forest of birch trees, grew her own vegetables and collected honey from bees.
Her life was simple, quiet and true, a far cry from the complicated lives like me and you.
But one day she noticed in the notes of bird song, that many years had passed since she’d heard her own tongue.
So she opened her mouth and attempted to sing, but she coughed and she spluttered and spat up a ring.
The woman plucked the ring from her tongue with her grubby little hand, eyes widened and startled to see a diamond so grand.
She tried once more mouth open wide, again splutters and phlegm, abruptly followed gem after gem.
Such riches before her but no single sound, her song had vanished, nowhere to be found.
This woman who’s life was simple and true was left befuddled, disorientated no clue what to do.
So she planted each gem in the rich dark soil and watered and fed them whispers with toil.
Then one fine day as the sun daggered between birch she witnessed some movement then sudden lurch.
There before her from the rich dark earth a shy flower, bud closed, slender in girth.
She whispered her devotion as they rose from their tomb, babies born from mother earths womb.
They ascended to a height taller than her, so fast their growth was almost a blur.
Halt.
A silence fell.
The bud undressed releasing the sweetest of sounds, harmonising chorus sensory abounds.
The flowers sang songs of jubilations and sorrows, that made the woman weep gratitude for all her tomorrows.
Then did she know she may have misplaced her song, but this was just temporary and would return before long.

My amazing friend and teacher starts her new 4 week beginners breathwork course this morning at 11am in Altrincham. I highly recommend it. Unfortunately I can’t be there today but I’ll 100% be at the next one.

Had so mush 🍄 fun this weekend. ;)
Friday went to a talk on the science of magic mushrooms in mcr which was enlightening and today I’ve been foraging in style woods which was brilliant.
Now having a quick little lie down finishing entangled life on audible.
Mushrooms are the future! 🍄
