Raj was someone already training 4 to 5 times a week

He wasn’t lazy (and in fact, far from it)

But he’d look in the mirror and still feel skinny fat

❌ He was hiding from photos

❌ He avoided certain gyms & fitness spaces

❌ Where he felt everyone was judging him for not actually being “fit”

Even though he was showing up to his training…

Even though he was doing everything right on paper…

The right effort was already there… but the strategy wasn’t

And that’s what was keeping him so stuck for months 👎🏼

So we changed all of that ⬇️

We worked on body composition AND performance

By balancing fuelling for performance and fat loss to achieve:

✅ Dropping 10kg and building a completely different body

But more than that…

✅ He ran a sub 1:55 half marathon

✅ New 5k PB & 10k PB

✅ He joined a run club

✅ He built a routine that fits around his career/life instead of against it

And now, he doesn’t compare himself to others anymore

He’s not chasing someone else’s journey

He’s chasing his own!

This is the thing inside the EMA that truly separates us from anyone else

It’s not just about the weight

It’s about walking into a room and feeling like you belong

It’s being proud of what your body can DO not just what it looks like

And it’s your partner, your friends and your family seeing a different version of you 💪🏼

This didn’t happen for Raj by giving him a generic 12 week plan…

We gave him habits for life!

Most men I speak to are stuck…

Not because they’re not working hard enough…

Because you try & do everything at once…

❌ Build muscle
❌ Get lean
❌ Improve running
❌ Get stronger

And that usually leads to…

The weekly debrief

Spent the week with my sister, nephew and niece and it was honestly the reset I needed…

Nothing screams being present than being asked “uncle can you help me build a cardboard rocket ship”

You seem to forget about all of your stresses when you’re being wrestled with by a 4 year old…

All jokes aside, this week was proof to myself why boundaries are so important in order to protect my energy!

I’m very grateful I get to say I wake up every day and love what I do impacting peoples lives across the world…

So for me, ‘working hard’ isn’t difficult, if anything it’s knowing when not to be ‘working hard’ that I find difficult…

Because that equally comes with the issue of thinking “I’ll just finish this thing when I’m in bed”

But why? Just do it tomorrow and don’t delay going to sleep and ruining your energy

Negative actions have negative consequences…

Signing out the week with our first ever virtual community event full of education, motivation and support delivered by the team!

Officially been branded “the uncle with the big muscles” by my niece and nephew

Gym? Completed mate

All jokes aside, my question to you is how do you want to be remembered?

Because of the other side to this coin is being the fat, out of shape uncle…

I am such a firm believer that no matter what life throws at you, you always have a choice to react in a way that puts you in a better position tomorrow

No matter how hard, no matter how difficult

There’s a positive decision and a negative decision every time

Choose yours…

Staying in shape 365 days a year is a different ball game than just showing up for an 8 week period…

Left photo // August 2025: Getting into the best shape of my life for my wedding after a 12wk fat loss phase losing 5kg

Right photo // Present day & 8 months later: Still feeling lean and at my best through the ups and downs of challenges life throws

Slight difference in shape

No difference in lifestyle

I don’t “diet”

I don’t restrict

And I definitely don’t have to grind through every day with no energy

(In fact, it’s quite the opposite)

This is the transition that people never execute correctly!

Because, don’t get me wrong, getting lean requires a very specific phase

High accountability, a manageable deficit and a clear goal with an end point

But staying lean (and in shape) requires something different…

It requires habits that last

Systems to navigate all seasons of life

And a way of eating and training that allows high energy and performance

Anybody can lose weight in a matter of weeks with a huge deficit…

(*cough cough, weight loss jabs…)

But how you keep it off for life is what so many guys struggle to do so

This is why inside the EMA, we don’t just help you achieve the ‘what’

We teach you the ‘why’ and show you ‘how’

Giving you clarity and knowledge on how to stay in great shape for the rest of your life!
