"I completed a 10-week transformation w Dave and have to say; it has been one of the best things Iโ€™ve done; certainly the most important self-investment Iโ€™ve ever made.

Following a difficult pregnancy whereby my joints and ligaments suffered tremendous complications and pain, I quickly ballooned to the heaviest weight of my life. I was deeply unhappy with how I looked; I was incredibly self-conscious and uncomfortable; I essentially felt that I was weak, and stuck in the body of an out of shape OAP... at the age of 33! I had no energy, despite the self-loathing, struggled to find motivation and instead found myself stuck in a depressing cycle of self-loathing and emotional eating.

Almost 2 years into motherhood I felt I was at rock bottom and cheating myself the opportunity to be the fun, energetic, positive person I had been and knew it certainly was not the parent I had envisaged myself being. My family, friends and own mental and emotional well being deserved better.

Despite fearing my body would never be able to sustain such intense training after years of recurring injuries and ailments (Ankle, knee, hips, wrists etc), I decided to make the plunge and if my body gave up a week into the transformation programme, it would be a shame and a loss of money / but, what else was there to lose?

I did lose. I lost weight. A lot of it. Faster than I ever could have believed was possible. I lost a wardrobe full of size 14 clothing (which for someone of my height who was usually a size 10, was a big deal.)

I lost the constant heaviness of feeling awkward, lethargic, and self-consciousness.

I lost the social anxiety I had developed from feeling such intense feelings of being so uncomfortable within my own skin and the horrible lack of self-esteem that had crept in over the years.

What I gained? endless energy; this new, leaner, stronger body which was blowing me away on a weekly basis as to how much it could actually achieve and transform!? I proudly gained a whole new size 8 wardrobe to reflect the boundless freedom in what I felt I could comfortably wear and the ability to be a better, healthier, stronger version of me.

My happiness equated to a happier home and family; happier friends and vastly enhanced general wellbeing.

I felt re-energized, inspired and reclaimed a zest for health and action, that Iโ€™d not enjoyed in such a long time.

Working with Dave from Prestige has been brilliant. He has pushed me far beyond the limits of what I ever could have done by myself. Inspiring! What a story from a 'Life Changing' experience one of our recent clients had. ๐Ÿ‘Š

From day 1 at Prestige Fitness meeting David and undergoing a serious session involving cardio and weights I knew this was going to be tough, however I also knew this was the start of the new me and my new life.

David started by writing me a food and exercise plan, for my lifestyle. When I first received these plans,I was amazed at how detailed they were and how much time he had spent putting them all together.

My foods consisted of a lot of protein and vegetables and overall a healthy sustainable diet, including chicken, turkey & brocolli oats. -Yummy! It's surprising how your tastes buds change.

These foods I never, ate before as takeaways were my 'go to' but this plan changed all my bad habits and introduced new ones. The exercise plans Prestige wrote me was intense, a lot of cardio to really shed my fat and a lot of weights to keep my skin toned and to provide me with good definition that I had always wanted.

This was the right balance for me as I was worried I would lose a lot of weight and not be toned- but it couldn't have been more opposite. I was gaining new muscles in all kinds of areas daily!

For me the most challenging aspect of weeks early stages- 1-4, was the intensity of the exercise, however I joined a gym and I was loving it; yes I was feeling tired but I pushed through because I wanted results!

The portions and the food was also very challenging for me as I use to eating what I wanted when I wanted. But this is just a little self control and willpower needed.

I had to work hard not to over eat (greedy instincts) or eat anything that I shouldn't. Yes, don't get me wrong I craved like mad, I craved burgers, chips, chocolate but I stuck to it. I could start to see results.. like shocking results, and this is what pushed me on.

People were commenting saying "wow you look different, have you lost weight" things like this made me smile inside as I knew how hard I was working to change this body.

Prestige was there for me every second for the 3 month program. So supportive, professional, friendly, they really doe have that "magic touch".

They has been an inspiration and a great positive team be around for the past 12 weeks. David, my PT has taught me how to use weights, I feel confident and at ease I the gym now -before this, I was terrified.

That, don't worry girls, you won't become bulky, you will become toned and you will look amazing so don't be scared go pick up a weight, look yourself in the mirror and work on your strength.

As an overweight girl at the beginning of this program it was hard to enter the gym and not feel self conscious however this program that Prestige Fitness - 'The 12 Week Transformer' provides, helps you overcome that anxiety from the results you begin to see you realise wow I'm actually doing this and in a matter of weeks you get the confidence to blast the gym, music on, head down, get a sweat on, push and focus on your goal because trust me it will all be worth the blood sweat and tears in the end.

I lost 3 stone in 90 days and learned skills, habits and confidence that will stay with me for the rest of my self. Recommending Prestige doesn't cut it, they are the best and you just need to do it yourself. Thank you.

Stop wishing, start doing.

An expression we use for people who procrastinate-
"You don't have to get it right, you just have to get it going."

A lot of us wait for the perfect conditions to start an exercise regime I.e

The right day of the week, the right time for you, a birthday or a special event. For upcoming holidays and even when work has died down and you're little less busy. - Just get it going.

Any and all efforts, drive you forward, and when it comes to a more focused training agenda at the time- having a base will serve you well.

Consistency is key, training at a minimum of 3 days per week is obvious a but healthy practice to creating those perfect future conditions that will lend itself to your future goals when ready for a push.
