We have been working closely with Prestige Industrial Ltd over the past year or so.

We have helped them develop a safety management sytstem, improve their operative skill set and set up their professional accreditations.

We just recieved a copy of their Alcumus SafeContractor certificate and we are so pleased for them.

Been another busy week over here with some bespoke RAMS for new customers, some guidamce for existing clients and progressing with Alcumus SafeContractor applications for valued clients.

Pleased to say we have another contractor CHAS - Contractors Health & Safety Assessment Scheme approval this week!

We've also had a couple of site visits to arrange Construction Phase Plans and some project specific RAMS for regular clients!

We have been working with several lead workers recently, and did a bit of reading into PPE types, after we saw a few comments about breathing protection and respirators.

We found this handy guidance document while doing our research, and the below points should be noted.

FFP3 masks are the minimum filtration you should be using, but you should be face-fit trained, and if not clean shaven then the mask is not effective.

Powered hoods offer greater protection and should be considered for high risk works such as stripping old lead or high volumes of welding in confined spaces.

It's been another busy start to the week over DSI Services.

We have been working on a site file for a new client with a Young Persons Risk Assessment, as well as an Individual Health Action Plan to keep all their employees safe on site.

We've also been providing some technical and commercial support to help a valued client tendering for some commercial re-roofing works.
