Filmed by the BBC, Karrie shared Kimberley’s story alongside the mothers of Matthew Haynes Fox and Matthew Schofield.
Together, they are raising awareness of the devastating failures in UK law that led to the tragic loss of their loved ones—failures that left them without help, without justice, and without dignity.
Matthew’s Law. is Calling for a change in Duty of Care legislation, Matthew’s Law demands that everyone has the right to receive help.
No one should be able to choose who deserves support in a moment of crisis.
Everyone deserves a duty of care.
Kimberley’s Law is pushing for a new criminal offence:
Where a person intentionally delays calling 999 during a medical emergency or death—without reasonable cause—they should be held accountable.
We believe it must be an offence to fail to provide assistance when someone’s life depends on it.
We ask you to stand with Karrie, Sue, Emma, and their families in their fight for justice.
These proposed changes are not just legal amendments—they are life-saving, life-changing laws.
More and more families are coming forward—also failed, also grieving—because this broken system continues to cost lives.
This cannot go on.
