Filmed by the BBC, Karrie shared Kimberley’s story alongside the mothers of Matthew Haynes Fox and Matthew Schofield.

Together, they are raising awareness of the devastating failures in UK law that led to the tragic loss of their loved ones—failures that left them without help, without justice, and without dignity.

Matthew’s Law. is Calling for a change in Duty of Care legislation, Matthew’s Law demands that everyone has the right to receive help.
No one should be able to choose who deserves support in a moment of crisis.
Everyone deserves a duty of care.

Kimberley’s Law is pushing for a new criminal offence:
Where a person intentionally delays calling 999 during a medical emergency or death—without reasonable cause—they should be held accountable.
We believe it must be an offence to fail to provide assistance when someone’s life depends on it.

We ask you to stand with Karrie, Sue, Emma, and their families in their fight for justice.
These proposed changes are not just legal amendments—they are life-saving, life-changing laws.

More and more families are coming forward—also failed, also grieving—because this broken system continues to cost lives.
This cannot go on.

Help us fight for change. Share their story.

Help us demand justice, dignity, and change.

Education is key to change 🔑

Make sure you, and your children, know all the different ways to call for help in an emergency.

Kimberley’s Law - “Make it a crime to intentionally delay calling the emergency services during a medical emergency or in the event of a death”.

❓ QUESTION ❓

💫 The Kimberley’s Law Campaign is aiming for legal change and public education. 💫

• All children should know basic life skills such as first aid and CPR. They should know how to use a defibrillator and where to find one.

• Most importantly,
It is vital that all of our children learn the importance of calling for help AND all of the different ways they can! For example;
✨ Do they know they can text 999 once they have registered online?
✨ Do they know to press 55 when they are unable to speak?

We believe this should be taught in school!

Giving children this knowledge, is empowering, it ensures they are safe, and it can SAVE LIVES.

Kimberley’s Law have recently contacted the Department of Education to request these essential life skills are added as part of the national curriculum.

Please let us know in the comments below;

🌟 Do you know if this is already part of school learning, has your child learnt this? 🌟

🌟 Do you believe this should be taught in all schools as part of the national curriculum ? 🌟

Yesterday was an emotional day at the House of Parliament.

I was joined by an incredible team from -legal and of course for a meeting with the Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Justice and MP Kevin McKenna to talk about my son’s case and the urgent need for change.

It was an emotional conversation, but one filled with compassion, understanding, and genuine support. For the first time in a long time, I felt truly heard.

The kindness shown yesterday meant more than I can ever express. It gave me hope that change is possible, not just for my family, but for others who have suffered in silence.

We’ll now be working closely with KMC Legal and Kym on the next steps, and I’m determined to keep pushing forward until change happens.
