If you are seeing this, it may be that something here feels familiar.

You might feel stuck in patterns that are difficult to shift
Repeating the same thoughts, behaviours or relationship dynamics
Trying to cope but not seeing the change you are looking for

These patterns can show up in different ways
Through anxiety, ongoing stress, difficult or confusing relationships, or the impact of long term health issues

This group is designed to help you understand what is maintaining those patterns and how to begin changing them

Breaking the Cycle
Understanding Unhelpful Cycles and Changing Patterns

A 10 week online CBT group for women across the UK

Group therapy can be a helpful space to feel less alone, gain new perspectives and begin building confidence in a supportive and structured way

I will also be offering further groups including a men’s group for depression and low self esteem, and an inclusive group for those who identify within the LGBTQIA community

If you are interested, message me GROUP and I will send you the details

AFFORDABLE THERAPY OPTIONS

If you’re seeing this, it is probably not by accident.

You might be overthinking everything
Feeling stuck in the same cycles
Questioning yourself more than you trust yourself
Trying to cope but nothing is really shifting

The frustrating part is that you are not failing.
You are likely caught in patterns your brain has learned to repeat.

That is exactly what this group is designed to help with.

Breaking the Cycle: Understanding Unhelpful Cycles and Changing Patterns

A 10 week CBT group focused on helping you understand what is maintaining anxiety and how to begin changing it.

We will cover:
Understanding anxiety and how it is maintained
Unhelpful thinking styles such as worry, rumination and intrusive thoughts
Behavioural patterns including avoidance, reassurance and control
Building confidence and a stronger sense of self
Practical tools you can apply in your day to day life

This group is designed to be accessible and is approximately 70% lower in cost than individual therapy sessions.

If this feels relevant to you, message me GROUP and I will send you the details.

Doing it anyway is the work

Anxiety doesn’t improve when you feel ready
It improves when you stop avoiding

Not when the thoughts go
Not when you feel calm

But when you do the thing…
with the anxiety still there

That’s how your brain learns
ā€œI can handle thisā€

Avoidance feels safer
But it’s what keeps it going

What have you been putting off?

P.S If this is your bike, thanks for letting me borrow it briefly 😜

You don’t need to be polished for therapy.
You don’t need the ā€œright words.ā€
You don’t need to impress me.

Just come as you are šŸ¤

becoming a person… one questionable step at a time

coffee in bed, reggie keeping a close eye on things, hormones, smelling expensive for no reason, attempting to look presentable, installing eyesight, a workout if i’m feeling ambitious, reward coffee…

and finally skincare - the only step i can do without a mirror because i’m not ready for that kind of trauma before 9am šŸ¤

just slowly assembling a functioning human… hopefully

What’s your experience living with FND, OCD, or both? Do people understand how difficult it is?

Two days ago marked FND Awareness Day, and I wanted to share this with permission from a client I have the privilege of working with.

She lives with Functional Neurological Disorder and OCD. FND is real, physical, and often misunderstood, yet she’s been told it’s ā€œall in her head.ā€ She lives with pain, falls, and loss of independence every day.

Alongside this, she’s doing the hard work of OCD therapy, facing her fears daily.

She’s also a single parent, volunteers, and shows up for others with so much strength.

She also finds strength in humour and has no qualms telling me when I’m wrong, which I love 🤣🤣🤣

Even when things get harder, she keeps showing up and doing the work.

That is strength.
