The Manchester Disabled People’s Project is run by the Greater Manchester Coalition of Disabled People (GMCDP) to promote the full inclusion of disabled people in Manchester.

We are recruiting for four separate opportunities to work on our Disabled People's Archive.

Thanks to funding from The National Lottery Heritage Fund, we are looking an archive project assistant to join our staff team as well as a freelance oral historian and evaluator.

We have also received a grant from The National Archives to catalogue the UPIAS (Union of the Physically Impaired Against Segregation) archive and are looking for an archive catalogue project worker.

All roles are for 20 months until the projects end in April 2027.
