HAPPY INTERNATIONAL NURSES DAY to all my nursing colleagues past and present, who I have had the honour of working with (even my own mum) 🤍

We have the unique privilege of being with people at their most vulnerable and during their happiest and saddest times and as nurses those moments never leave us. Only last week I cried with a patient in clinic-a special moment shared.

It’s always the idea of needles that gets people and this is a little tongue in cheek, but comfort really does matter to us.

The reality ?
Most treatments are quick, controlled, and far more comfortable than people expect.

Meanwhile, life out here is throwing far worse at us on a daily basis 😅
