I’m so excited to have teamed up with Sally from the amazing The Practical Child to create The Developing Child: Thrive by 5.
Did you know that when your baby is 1 their brain has doubled in size!
and that by the time your child is 5 their brain is 90% developed!
Sally and I are both very passionate about children’s development and recognise how influential we can all be as parents, especially in the early years.
However, we also understand that you need look after yourself!
So….
Every fortnight starting Monday 17th July we will be running a Coffee, chat and learn session at The Community Space, Tesco Extra Broadstairs.
If you have a baby or toddler and live in the local area we would love you to pop along.
☕️ It’s a great opportunity to meet other local parents, have a (hot) drink and ask anything about the early years.
💡One of our aims when setting up this group was to support the local community and help parents understand how influential we are with our childrens development.
It can be a really challenging and indeed lonely time and we think getting to know other local parents can make a real difference.
💛 Each session we plan to include a 45min talk/class/practical about different aspects of child development, covering areas relating to physical development, parent and child relationship, mental health, nutrition and child safety.
📖 Recognising the importance of reading with children at an early age, there will be a selection of books for you to read to your little ones.
🍰 Each session is £5 (payable on the day) and includes a hot drink, biscuits (sometimes cake) and the session on children’s development.
🚗 Plenty of free parking and easy access to the room.
