Running a small business can be expensive - but building a faithful community of followers is priceless !

A special thank you to people and groups who accept and share our posts. Your kindness helps promote our business in such a big way and we really are truly grateful.

The Summer holidays will soon be here. Summer break camp. Open to ages 4 to 15.

A fun time out, making new friends and learning all about ponies and animals.

Activities include:
Farm animals to feed.
Horse/pony grooming, stable management, feeding, agility course.
Bathing the ponies.
Visiting our lovely bunny and guinea pig in their converted stable.
Craft activities.
Refreshments in our lovely Safari tent.

We are advertising this to see if there would be any interest.

May 25th - Bank holiday 😀

What we get up to..

•Grooming / Bathing (weather dependent) the ponies.
•Stable/ Field management
•Haynet filling
•Pony Agility

Followed by cake, juice & some crafts in our Safari tent ⛺️

2 hours of pony filled fun..

11am-1pm

What to wear..

Older clothes, trainers or wellies. Coats incase it's a bit windy and your best smiles 😀

While the world rushes by, something magical happens in the quiet of the yard - where a child, a pony, and story come together. No pressure. No judgment just presence.

Ponies don’t care if you stumble over a word. They don’t rush things. They simply listen … and somehow, that’s everything.

In these moments, confidence grows, voices get stronger, and their minds come to life in the most unexpected way. Because sometimes the best way to build confidence … is to start with a listener that has four legs.

This is for the Children/Young people in foster care, residential, kinship care or formerly in care, who are impacted by abuse, neglect and trauma.

We can help these children and young people as they learn to build trust and their self-esteem, reduce their anxiety and depression, improve social skills and impulse control while also being in the presence of our animals who are patient, forgiving and willing to give as much as they are given. These calm creatures are part of why people keep coming back to us time and time again. It is truly a beautiful thing.

The Moat is open to anyone who can benefit from spending time with our equines and animals.

There is no minimum or maximum age. Some come here in a group, some as individuals and some as families. Some come through organisations or schools, others contact us directly.

Here are some of the groups and individuals who have benefitted from coming to our centre.

SEN children/young people, young carers, school students with emotional and behavioural challenges, children/ young people with severe anxiety, young people in care, young people outside mainstream education, people with autism, people with learning difficulties, adults with mental health concerns and so much more.

You do not have to have a disorder or special needs to come to us.
