The Neuro Cafe is a new venture offering an inclusive and welcoming space for people with neurological conditions and their families and carers, providing a place to meet and connect with others with similar experiences .

This is a collaborative initiative between:

*Headway Scunthorpe *MS Society *Stroke Association *M & D Association *Parkinsons UK *Huntington’s Disease *Epilepsy Action.
Representatives of the above associations have come together to make this happen and will be present on the Launch Day to make you feel very welcome.

The launch is on Tuesday - 9th September between 1pm and 3pm at The Pods Leisure Centre, Ashby Road, Scunthorpe, DN16 1AA.

Volunteers and students placements now available 🚨🚨🚨

Are you interested in a career with animals? If so this might be the perfect opportunity for you.
These places are very popular so please read all of the information before applying!
If you are starring qn animal course in September at college or university, many require a minimum of 150 work experience hours so this would be a perfect opportunity to work with a variety of animals.

- you will need to be aged 17 or older
- you will assist in the prep and feeding of daily feeds
- you will clean enclosures so a degree of physical fitness is required
- you will be looking after the general zoo maintenance
- you will need to commit to 1 day per week every week from 8.30am to 4pm
- you will need to be willing to work in all weather's
- Reliability, as we have limited places as we're a small zoo if you let us down regularly your placed will be offered to others

In return you will gain from us:
- hands on experience working with a wide range of exotic animals
- a friendly environment with support and advice
- future references for job opportunities
