On my last trip to Nepal, I was gifted this traditional Nepalese diyo lamp. This special gift now is a central feature of my ta***ic massage space, the Lotus Room.

Touch releases essential hormones and endorphins that don't just feel nice, but play a crucial part in our emotional and physical wellbeing:
• Oxytocin is directly released through tender touch. It creates bonding and a sense of security and safety between people
• Endorphins create a natural high (euphoria) which act as a sedative and diminishes the body's perception of pain. Endorphins released through ta***ic bodywork can be helpful for managing lingering pain

During the Victorian era, emotional restraint became endemic in British society. By the turn of the twentieth century, emotional control had become an expectation of ‘civilised’ behaviour. Generations of children were brought up to control their emotions and expression of feelings. The British stiff upper lip soon became world famous!
Such cultural repression so often leads to tight, contracted energy bodies, storing tension. Keeping you diminished, constrained and unable to enjoy all that life has to offer. Living your life as others expect you to be rather than your true natural self.
Ta**ra massage has the potential to open and expand the energy body. To enable you to respond to life from a more aware, authentic self; liberated from cultural chains that bind you and keep you small and adapted.
