A lot of preparation for our festive season and the holiday itself
involves going online – whether it’s for buying gifts or decorations, ordering festive food, exchanging online greetings or chatting with friends or family. But because we’re busy and maybe distracted, we’re sometimes less careful than usual, making us open to scams and other online harms … including those using AI to make them more realistic.
It’s also a great time to check all your devices, social media and app settings ready for the year ahead.
These days, a lot of preparation for the festive season and the holiday itself involves the internet – whether it’s for buying gifts or decorations,

"Dance has been a huge part of my life so to continue creating and performing at this time in my life journey is a brilliant opportunity. The work is an exploration of how the intensity of emotional and physical experiences in life can shape a sensitive and thoughtful creative event full of personal expression in sound and movement."

This page will provide information about wellbeing services and projects in Feock Parish, which includes the villages of Carnon Downs, Devoran, Point & Penpol and Feock village.
We are very lucky that we have two wellbeing projects running in our Parish - HAIRE (Healthy Ageing through Innovation in Rural Europe) which started in Summer 2020 and is an EU project, part funded by Feock Parish Council and also Community Connect which started in November 2018, initially part funded by the Parish Council but now continuing with other funding due to the success of the pilot project.
The Parish Council are looking to facilitate the bringing together of people and offering new opportunities for people to want to get out and about, volunteer in our community or have concerns about where they live and the services provided to help them age healthily.
More information on the HAIRE project and wellbeing in the parish can be found on our website which will be constantly updated with information www.feockparishcouncil.co.uk/wellbeing
