We are stronger together! Come along to this year's free event, lots to do and see for all the family. This event has been organised for you by your community, to give us all chance to understand more about health, wellness and just have some fun! Face painting, Cress heads and more for the young and for the young at heart too!
Health is so important so come and find out how you can manage yours with the help of local teams and services.

Not registered with Patients Know Best yet? Never heard of it? Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and many others use this system to share information with you very quickly about appointments, letters and results of tests often too. Use the email or the QR code to find out how to register for this online service ( also availabe via the NHS App too)

This week marks the annual national Patient Partnership Week 2025 a time to reflect and learn about our own health and how we can actively get invoved to get the best for and from the system.
Market Weighton Practice Patient Participation Group is still active, we never have enough volunteers and we are now about to navigate a new landscapre as the surgery prepares to be "under new ownership" but we would say if you have an interest in health, your health, family health and would be interested in learning more do get in touch. We will be running some sessions at the Health and Wellness Community day in August so feel free to pop in and have a chat.

This is just a reminder that the GP Practice will be closed from 12 noon today for training. It will reopen tomorrow, Thursday, June 19th, at 8am.
Should you require medical assistance during this time, you should contact NHS 111 either by phone or online, or in an emergency ring 999.

Venue: The Falsgrave Community Resource Centre, Seamer Road, Scarborough, North Yorkshire, YO12 4AY
Time: 11am registration for an 11.15am start running until 1.15pm (Refreshments will be provided)

The event will be hosted by the Humber Integrated Care Board (ICB) and the Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust.

SystmOnline is a website where you can view your electronic medical record, as well as providing other features such as appointment management or ordering repeat prescriptions.

For more information and to register speak to reception next time you visit the surgery. Please provide photo ID (e.g. passport/driving licence) and something with your address (e.g. bank statement - not a gas or electricity bill.)

If you don’t have these, please talk to the surgery team and they will help you to sign up.
