If you are eligible for an NHS Flu jab, you should have received a text message. If you have and have a smart phone, you can use the link to book. If you have a text but no smart phone, ring to book. | Also if you got no text message but think you fit in one of the following criteria, then call the Surgery to check:
- If you are 65 or over
- Pregnant
- Have certain long-term health conditions
- live in a care home
- Are a main carer for an older or disabled person.
Additionally, frontline health and social care workers are offered the vaccine by their employers or can get it for free at a GP surgery or pharmacy if their employer doesn't provide it. Children aged 2 to 3, school-aged children (Reception to Year 11), and children in clinical risk groups aged 6 months to under 18 are also eligible for a free vaccine, usually administered through schools or GP surgeries.
