Let’s talk Breathwork!!
Just breathing right?
Right, but wrong!
I have just received a 1:1 breathwork session from a phenomenal power house.
She presented the idea of holding the session stood up so I could drop into my feminine energy and the breath.
But what does that mean?
I am training in Vanta Conscious Connected Breathwork, clients use a wave breath through mouth breathing to create a rhythm and train the body to relax in a state of stress.
Trina played an awesome playlist for me, to which I listened to her music choices along with her coaching voice throughout the session.
I allowed my body to move and do whatever it needed to do. I’m not talking about sexy dance moves here, I’m talking about thrashing arms, wiggling bums, shaking and bending. The whole time I could physically feel thoughts and emotions rise until we reach the crescendo and let all of that s**t go!! And boy did I do that, I screamed, shouted, stamped and sobbed.
And now I feel lighter, invigorated, powerful and limitless.
What did I come to embrace by the end?
“It’s okay to be seen, truly seen for who you truly are”
“People will accept me”
But more importantly
“I accept myself”
“It’s okay to feel anger when you’re also grateful”
“It’s okay to put your trust in people”
