Today has been another busy day at Fir Villa!

The residents played a “Roll and move” rolling the dice and following the moment to some nostalgic music!

We also played bean bag target toss which worked up a themed conversation! Brushing up on our throwing skills too.

Some 1-1 time included: trying modern calligraphy brush pens, painting up some homemade plant tags, and even up cycling one of our planters! (In VERY strong winds!) but they loved it nonetheless.

We also progressed with an embroidery project!

Plenty of fun & activities were enjoyed today 🫧

It’s been a packed and joyful couple of weeks for our residents! 🛍️ Everyone enjoyed a trip out to pick up their essentials, with plenty of smiles along the way.

We also had a very special visit from a gentle Maine C**n cat, who brought lots of comfort, cuddles, and happy moments to everyone 🐾

With the lovely sunshine brightening our days, residents have been making the most of the outdoors—relaxing in the sun and getting involved in some gardening 🌱🌞

A wonderful time filled with activity, companionship, and plenty of fresh air!

There’s been plenty of fun and laughter with our games this week! 🎉

Residents got stuck into a lively thumbs down game, put their thinking caps on for a crossword challenge, and teamed up for a whiteboard quiz – with some great answers (and a few cheeky guesses! 😄).

Of course, no quiz is complete without a prize… and this time it was a delicious chocolate treat for the winner! 🍫

A fantastic time all round, filled with smiles, teamwork, and a little bit of friendly competition.

We’ve had such a lovely few days making the most of the beautiful weather! ☀️

Our residents have been enjoying some well-deserved pampering, taking time to relax and feel their best. There’s also been plenty of laughter with a variety of games bringing everyone together, creating lots of fun moments and friendly competition.

To top it all off, a little bit of shopping added an extra treat to the week – always a favourite! 🛍️

It’s been wonderful to see so many smiles and to enjoy the sunshine together. Here’s to more days like these!

Today we enjoyed a lovely activity session with bubbles and a ball 🫧⚽

There were lots of smiles and laughter as everyone joined in, watching the bubbles float and gently passing the ball between one another. Simple activities like these bring so much joy and are a great way to encourage movement, coordination, and help keep everyone active and fit.

It was wonderful to see everyone relaxed, engaged, and having fun together while keeping their bodies moving. Moments like these really brighten the day and create special memories 💛
