has died of cancer, I’ll be honest, it’s brought a lot of my own treatment back to my mind, the fear, the worry, the pain. But I’m still here, recovering from the latest op because you know, cancers just that gift that keeps giving! Thankful that 3 years on I’m still NED 🤞🏻please check yourselves peeps, here’s a few stats just in case you need a bit more to convince you

1000 DEATHS a month from breast cancer

Almost half (47%) of women in the UK do not check their breasts regularly for potential signs of breast cancer.

Asked what stops or prevents them from checking their breasts more regularly, almost half (46%) of women said they ‘forget’.

One in seven women in the UK will develop breast cancer in their lifetime.

Breast cancer is a leading cause of death in women under 50 in the UK.

A very sad day at for all involved and all spectating. The horse, horses owner as well as the athletes must all be devastated but I wish they would adopt rules with regard to whip use 😞 I’d also be interested in how many hours are spent training for the riding element vs running/swimming/fencing/shooting?

Just over three years now since the big C and I’m still here!, no evidence of disease, have just had the last and biggest op and recovering well. So well I’ve sent the old gun off to UK Gun Repairs for a service and spruce up. Hopefully to be back shooting the fantastic Lyalvale Express cartridges very soon because some times it’s just about being here 😊
