My home for 5 nights last week while undergoing complex hip surgery. The view from the window was towards recording studio on Abbey Road, St Johns Wood.

Thanks again to everyone that took care of me at .london, nothing less than a 10/10.

Good first week post-surgery, day 6 and 7 pretty draining but as expected. The aim currently is to allow the joint to settle and reduce inflammation-while mobilising as much as is tolerable. Lots of ice and medication.

My diary for June (week-beginning 15th) is filling up and I’m working my way through your requests.

Day 5 post-complex hip surgery:

Total Hip Replacement and Arthroscopic Decompression of the Sciatic Nerve. 4 hours in surgery. Very grateful to and his team for their expertise and care at St Johns Wood, London.

Home today, looking forward to seeing my family. 💙

Day 3 post-surgery: Total Hip Replacement and Arthroscopic Decompression of the Sciatic Nerve.

Just returned from gym based physio which involved 100 metres of walking (with crutches), 10 minutes exercise bike, short walks backwards and laterally.
The early aim is to reduce swelling, increase hip mobility, and gain trust in the new titanium joint.

Feet up now for a couple of hours attached to the Breg motorised unit which combines cold therapy and compression.

My turn to be treated this week. A severely damaged left hip being replaced today-ever so grateful to Professor Griffin and his team in St. Johns Wood, London for their expertise and care.
