LISTEN TO YOUR BODY , ITS SENDING YOU A MESSAGE.

Our bodies are always sending signals when stress is building, but many of us learn to ignore them. Constant tiredness, headaches, tension, poor sleep, irritability, and feeling overwhelmed are not things we should push through, they are warning signs.

When stress stays high for long periods, it can affect your mood, relationships, concentration, and physical health. Listening to your body early and slowing down when it asks is not weakness; it’s a way of protecting your wellbeing before burnout takes over.

Holistic therapies are a great way to soothe stress , calm your nervous system and regulate your mind and physical body.

BOUNADRIES AND LOVE !

Boundaries are important in relationships because love doesn’t remove your need for safety, respect, and individuality. When you set boundaries, you’re not pushing someone away, you’re showing them how to love you in a way that feels healthy and sustainable. Without boundaries, resentment, exhaustion, and misunderstandings can quietly build up. With boundaries, both people know what feels okay and what doesn’t, which creates trust and emotional security. In the long run, boundaries don’t damage love, they protect it and give it space to grow.

I’m a professional counsellor based in St Helens, supporting people across Merseyside with relationship challenges , healthy boundaries, communication and emotional wellbeing. I can provide a space were we can explore what is going on for you together.

Having a little sort out of my holistic room , dusting my shelf and took notice for the first time in a while of my very old Buddha!

My little Buddha is 20 year's old! I was bought him on my 18th Birthday! He's definitely been around the block abit 🤣🤣🫣 he's missing a hand and his all over glow , however I can't part with him.

He reminds me that even at 18 I didn't just believe in what my eyes could see 😉

This was around the time I did manifestations to the moon 🌙 and the very first crystal shop in St Helens was like a sweet shop 🔮a whole 20 years ago 😁

I will always believe in universal energy and something greater ✨️

What happens in a hypnotherapy session?

First, you'll usually have a talk with your therapist to discuss what you hope to achieve and agree what methods your therapist will use. The consultation process ( which is free ) is super important in this process.

After this, the hypnotherapist may:

➡️Provide a plan of the Hypnotherapy sessions, confirm days/ times and timescales.

➡️lead you into a deeply relaxed state – most people feel refreshed and relaxed

➡️use your agreed methods to help you towards your goals – for example, suggesting that you do not want to carry out a certain habit

➡️gradually bring you out of the trance-like state. Most people feel refreshed and relaxed after their session.

You're fully in control when under hypnosis and do not have to take on the therapist's suggestions if you do not want to.

If necessary, you can bring yourself out of the hypnotic state" whenever you choose. Hypnosis is a natural state that your in and out of throughout your day.

Yes, therapy IS hard…

It can be uncomfortable, vulnerable, emotional…

But…

It can be healing
It can change how you think
It can change how you feel
It can help make living your life more manageable

I can’t say I’ve always “enjoyed” therapy but I certainly enjoy being me a whole lot more.

I really love me now and that’s huge because it wasn’t always the case.

Feeling and seeing the difference in me is just lovely to live with 🥰
