How does this sit with all you card readers out there? When I first started out as a reader over 20 years ago I agreed with this. Now, I have to add - not always - it depends on the circunstances. I have clients who are so full of energy that half the deck will pop out. Clearly I can't weave those cards into the story.
I now go with intuition. If I feel like a particular card jumped out and shouted, "Me, me, me!", then I add it to the mix. If I see that the card was dropped as a mistake, then it's placed back in the deck. If it's meant to appear, it will. Or is it simply a case of whatever your intention is as a reader at the start of the reading?
