As the longest night of the year is here, let’s take a moment to honour the stillness, the quiet magic, and the turning of the wheel towards the light. 🌌✨❄️

The Winter Solstice is a beautiful reminder that even in our darkest moments, the promise of renewal always follows.

The exact time of the Solstice in the UK on Saturday, 21st December is 9:20 am , as the sun moves into the sign of Capricorn. As a cardinal sign it marks the change of the season.

It's been a really challenging time for me in the recent months but things are moving in the positive direction. I realise more and more that everything in this earthly experience is here to help us evolve and become masters of our energy. Everything we go through helps us realise the true power that we hold within us and I am grateful for that.

🌿Pranayama, the ancient art of breath control, isn’t just a wellness trend; it’s a practice steeped in thousands of years of spiritual wisdom that works well. 🌿

The word pranayama comes from Sanskrit:
✨ Prana = Life force or vital energy
✨ Ayama = Expansion or control

Dating back to the Upanishads (around 700 BCE), pranayama was later expanded upon in the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali (200 BCE), where it’s described as a key practice on the path to self-realisation.
