Sunday Service at “Where engines preach & Legends meet”. 🏁

It’s more than cars and bikes rolling in; it’s the roar of stories, the grind of gears, and the family you didn’t know you had.

Come for the machines, stay for the people, and leave with a little more fuel in your soul.

That line right there — “It ain’t weak to speak.”

Let’s be honest… somewhere along the way, too many of us were taught the opposite.

Keep it in.
Man up.
Don’t make a fuss.
Just get on with it.

And look where that’s got us.

Silence doesn’t make you strong. It makes you isolated.
Bottling things up doesn’t make you tough. It just builds pressure — and pressure always finds a way out.

Speaking up when you’re not okay? That’s courage.
That’s self-respect.
That’s taking control of the wheel instead of letting your thoughts drive you into a ditch.

You wouldn’t ignore a knocking engine and hope it fixes itself. You’d lift the bonnet and sort it before it blows. Your mind deserves the same respect.

Talking doesn’t mean you’re broken.
It means you’re aware.
It means you’re fighting.

And here’s the truth — when one person speaks up, it gives someone else permission to do the same. That’s how stigma breaks. Not with grand speeches. With honest conversations. One at a time.

You don’t have to have the perfect words.
You don’t have to explain everything.
You just have to start.

A text.
A call.
A “mate, I’m struggling.”

That’s strength. Real strength.

If you’re reading this and you’re carrying something heavy — you don’t have to carry it alone. Speak. We’re listening.

Right. Let’s talk about this properly.

Mental resilience isn’t about pretending you’re fine.
It’s about building yourself strong enough that when life punches you in the face, you don’t stay down.

1️⃣ Positive self-talk
The voice in your head matters. If you wouldn’t say it to your mate, don’t say it to yourself.
Swap “I can’t handle this” for “I’ve handled worse.”
It sounds simple. It works. Your brain listens.

2️⃣ Problem-solving over panicking
Stress hits? Good. Now ask: What can I actually control here?
Resilient people don’t ignore problems. They break them down, piece by piece, like rebuilding an engine. One bolt at a time.

3️⃣ Growth mindset
Failure isn’t the end of the road — it’s a pit stop.
Every setback is data. Learn from it. Adjust. Go again.
No one builds strength by having an easy ride.

4️⃣ Build your crew
You’re not meant to do this alone.
Stay connected. Talk. Show up. Let people show up for you.
Real strength is knowing when to lean on others.

Resilience isn’t built in comfort.
It’s built in the hard conversations, the early mornings, the “I don’t feel like it” days.

Keep building. Keep moving. Keep talking.

ITS OKAY TO NEED HELP

Even the best car or bike needs a check-up. Your mind? Same deal. Asking for help isn’t weakness—it’s maintenance. Speak up, reach out, and take care of yourself.

People think it’s just cars and bikes.

What they don’t see is the stress relief, the purpose, the late-night conversations, and the quiet check-ins that happen over an open bonnet.

This community isn’t just about engines — it’s about keeping each other running too.

Look after your people. Always. 🖤

It starts earlier than most people think.

Children don’t just “grow out of” anxiety, overwhelm, or emotional struggles. They grow into adults who either learned how to cope… or learned how to hide it.

Children’s mental health matters because:
• Early support builds stronger, healthier futures
• Feelings shape behaviour, learning, and confidence
• Safe minds create kinder friendships and better lives
• Ignored struggles don’t disappear — they compound

A happy child isn’t one who never struggles.
It’s one who feels heard, supported, and safe enough to speak.

This week isn’t about labels or lectures.
It’s about listening more, judging less, and showing kids that their minds matter just as much as their bodies.

If we get it right early, we don’t spend a lifetime fixing what was ignored.

Let’s do better. Together.

Men cry.
Men break.
Men carry weight in silence because they were told to “man up.”

That ends here.

Real strength is owning the struggle, not burying it.
If something’s wrong, say it.
If a mate opens up, listen — don’t fix, don’t judge.

Men struggle too.
And speaking up doesn’t make you weak… it keeps you alive.

This week we’re welcoming — small cars, big attitude, zero nonsense. Proof that it’s not about size, stats, or who shouts loudest… it’s about showing up, standing together, and looking out for your people.

Sunday Service isn’t church — but it is therapy on four wheels.
Good cars. Good banter. Real conversations. No egos, no judgement, no pretending everything’s fine when it isn’t.

If you’re struggling, roll in anyway.
If you’re flying, pull someone else up with you.
That’s how this works. Old-school values. Modern problems. Community first.

Respect to Abarth Club North East for being part of something bigger than badges and bhp. Let’s do this properly. 💪

Sunday Service is back.

As from 1st February, Sundays finally have a purpose again.

Every week at MHCBC brings you a proper end-of-week reset — cars, bikes, good people, no pressure. The kind of meet you look forward to when the week’s dragging.

4–6PM
All wheels welcome.

£1 tea & coffee.
10% off beer & soft drinks.

And the food? Worth the trip alone:
Burgers done right, parmo burgers, smoked beef chilli, dirty fries, katsu curry, mac & cheese — plus Sunday specials if you ask.

This isn’t about showing off.
It’s about showing up.

Every Sunday
The Warehouse, Navigator Court, TS18 3TQ
In partnership with The Warehouse Kitchen & Bar

Put it in the diary. Sundays are back.

Sometimes the fix isn’t therapy, a plan, or a big speech.
Sometimes it’s just wheels turning, coffee in hand, and a mate who listens without trying to solve you.

A short drive-out. A proper chat. No judgement.
That’s how heavy days lose a bit of weight.

Check on your people. Invite them out. Talk it out.
It really can be that simple — and that powerful.

YMS — Yorkshire Modified Show. Let’s do this properly.

All are welcome.
Cars. Bikes. Off-roaders.
Modified, stock, slammed, lifted — if it’s got wheels (or attitude), it’s in.

This is a proper family day out. Good vibes, good people, and a cracking atmosphere. No egos, no nonsense — just engines, banter, and community.

There is also the chance to camp over the night before, it’s a great laugh doing the camp over so if people want to, get your tickets for the camping also, but if not we will still have a convoy down for the show on the day

🎟 Get your tickets here:
https://outdoorshows.co.uk/yorkshire-modified-car-show/

👉 Important bit (don’t skip this):
When buying your ticket, put “MentalHealth Car & Bike Club” in the clubstand box so you’re allocated with us. Otherwise, you’ll be parked miles away wondering where everyone’s gone.

Once you’ve got your ticket, message me so I can keep the attendance list up to date. Organisation beats chaos — every time.

Let’s show up strong, fly the flag, and make this a mega one. 💪
Big turnout. Big energy. Bigger message.
