Earlier this year, I trained Katie Carlin from Orenda Scotland in Silent Counselling.
Recently, Katie was asked to support a chimpanzee called Peter at Blair Drummond Safari Park who had been displaying significant distress and aggressive behaviours within the group.
Peter had been:• reactive and aggressive• creating conflict within the group• pulling out his own hair• struggling emotionally following separation from his mother• causing ongoing disharmony amongst the chimpanzees
Through Reiki and Silent Counselling sessions, emotional themes around fear, trust, safety and separation began to emerge.
What’s extraordinary is that information Katie intuitively picked up during the sessions was later confirmed by the keepers through Peter’s behavioural history and notes.
And then… something shifted.
The aggressive behaviours dramatically reduced. The chaos within the group settled.Harmony began returning.
When Katie shared this with me, I cried tears of joy.
Never did I imagine, when I became a Silent Counselling tutor, that one of my trainees would go on to support animals in this way.
I’m incredibly proud of Katie and deeply grateful to the compassionate team at Blair Drummond Safari Park for being so open-hearted in supporting Peter’s wellbeing.
This is the ripple effect of energy medicine 🤍
My Silent Counselling Practitioner Trainings for May and August are already open for those feeling called to learn this powerful modality.
