I am a Humanistic and Integrative counsellor which means I draw from a variety of approaches best suited to my clients. In this way, I am able to bring in elements of different theories and perspectives that allow me to tailor your therapy to suit you, your needs and requirements, recognising that we are all unique and no one type of therapy will suit everyone. Together, in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space, we will look to explore and unravel what is troubling and distressing you or paradoxically what is not. For example, you may want to gain awareness and understanding of a particular obstacle, explore issues from the past or present that are not sitting comfortably with you, feel supported through a life event or dig deeper into the possibility of making changes to your life or your relationships. My aim is to understand things from your perspective, to put one foot into your world and support you on the path towards your desired outcome, ultimately strengthening you, promoting your curiosity and encouraging and enabling you to deal with your emotions, worries and concerns more effectively.
