For the most part, between 3/4 workouts a week will help you improve your, fitness, strength and stamina!

Fitness also improves things like, your self esteem and confidence too!!!

Essentially, the thing to remember is;- don't go so hard you break yourself and the next week you are an aching mess on the floor! You will not want to go to the gym after that (unless you are made of incredible motivation).
But do focus on progress and consistency.

3/4 times is perfect....6 times a week may make you rethink exercise is good for you!

Like a language, once a week you will likely forget by next week and any gains you had are just blowing in the wind. Whereas practicing the same thing 3/4 a week can show massive improvement week on week!

It's okay, to feel anxious, scared and worried!
We have all started here......like driving for the first time....It's a lot to take in!
When you walk into a gym, especially if it's your first time, it can seem overwhelming with lots of people who seem to know what they are doing! (They actually don't....some of them are winging it!! )

My advice is;- Firstly, lots of new people join the gym everyday! complete newbies, those that haven't trained in decades and those that have fallen off for a couple of months! Nonetheless, it's the same for them too...it's hard work, things will have changed, people will notice you and you're going to find any exercise harder than you expected. So you are not alone.

Second, people will look.....usually not for long...it's human curiosity to notice new faces, but from working in the gym, I notice it's all quite the same, people will glance and generally get back to what they are doing. Usually they are so focused on their workout they haven't seen much of yours!

Thirdly if you are really unsure as what to do in the gym, check out there group exercise classes! Most gyms have these as part of their membership. These are great for meeting new friends (to keep you going) and also there is something fun with you meeting minds and wanting to work out, get moving, get sweaty and improve your health! It just feels great!

So if you are struggling, check out the class timetable. Get there in good time and learn exercises via the classes. You can learn techniques and learn how to use equipment. Each week do the same class and notice how much easier it becomes because your fitness is improving! And Keep Going :) xx

If you want to transform:-

It always comes down to the tiny incrimental things you do daily or often!

And we forget that! We forget the compounding effect of little wins!
Ultimately it all makes a difference - It’s progress!
However we often overthink this and put it off… and wait to do a big haul of work! I know because I have done and still do it!

But let this be a loving reminder ..
That the pain of the drastic change…can cause you to continue to procrastinate!
We often don’t want a painful upheaval of our life or don’t have the time so then NOTHING changes and NOTHING transforms.
The house stills looks sad, your health is still declining, your weight is getting in the way of your capabilities. Your relationships are still the same. Life has not moved forward for you 😞 but it doesn’t have to be that way!

If I could suggest anything I would say do 1 SMALL, almost Tiny thing a DAY, and build on that each week!

Maybe it’s drinking more water, painting a door frame, measuring a space, sitting down to write a strategy!

I just want to encourage you to remember it’s NOT POINTLESS. It’s all about progression.

One element I have changed in my Coaching model is training through a woman’s cycle.

Not only I do personally work around my clients cycle! We discuss bloating, period poops, heavy bleeds, losing your mind with loved ones because of PMS. How uncomfortable some bleeds can be whilst others can be a doddle! How even none of us really want to work the whole day!

My approach is mainly to remove shame, to feel safe to discuss this part of the month and also to notice and become aware of ourselves more and more.

Avoiding periods, and how they affect us and the ppl around us is pointless if we actually want to have a better life!
Really living is about improving your life, all round! The shame around periods for women is just shocking, because a bad one can really take you out!
So I just wanted to share this with you, in case you needed permission to be honest about your monthly and offer space if you struggle with working out, be a kind and loving person πŸ˜‚ and just want to ravage a pizza sandwich 1 week before your bleed!

I get you! I hear you! πŸ₯°β€οΈ and you are Normal! 😘❀️
