Bletchley and Fenny Stratford Green Gym Hiya, we are Bletchley and Fenny Stratford Green Gym, originally setup by the charity, TCV in 2021 but now running independently. Come join us!

We like gardening, helping wildlife, supporting each other and improving our community outdoor spaces. Come Volunteer with us! Improve your physical fitness and wellbeing for free. A wonderful day in the allotment on Thursday! Spring is really taking off, and buds and leaves are sprouting. Beds have been prepared for peas, beetroot seeds planted and weeds pulled from the flower beds.

Please join us next Thursday at 10am to help plant some more seeds and have a cuppa!

Back at last! After a long break (every Thursday has been miserably wet since before Christmas), we finally returned to the allotment today. had kindly left us a huge pile of fragrant wood chipped Christmas trees, so we barrowed them around the beds. Great to see people again! 💪🏻💪🏽🌲🌲

Winter hours!

Next week (11th Dec) is our Christmas social in the warmth of Dobbies, so there won't be anyone around if you were thinking of joining us.

Then we will be off for three weeks.

Back again on Thursday 8 January 2026. Winter hours will be 11.00-12.30 until 12 February. If you want to join us, drop us an email: bfsgreengym@gmail.com

My, what a big one! We love our pumpkin.
Some more harvesting this morning and topping up our beds with our fantastic home-brew compost. Then off along the canal to tidy up the raised beds and cut back the herbs ahead 's cruises this weekend. Quite an autumnal feel.

Been a bit absent on here recently as paid work sometimes has to take priority!
Last week, some of us got very wet at the allotment, but still managed a few jobs. Today (11 Sept), we're meeting there at 10 for an hour and then along the canal to tidy up the departure lounge ahead of its heritage weekend Fenny Stratford raster cruises.
You're welcome to join us! Bring your own hot drink today, please. Lugging large flasks of boiling water for everyone between sites is heavy, so a line has been drawn!

Visited with mum today and met the fabulous, inspirational, energetic woman behind it that is Tab. Wonderful outdoor community space. Productive and messy and welcoming - loved it! Loads of home-grown veg, wild areas and a pond providing different habitats, space to allow young children to be free, chickens, bees, cooking, stuff happening, cultural harmony in the heart of east Pollokshields. Many things in common with what we do at BFS Green Gym but 10 times bigger. Thank you for showing us round. The is real 🙏🏻🙏🏼🙏🏽🙏🏾🙏🏿
