You’re pushing through the day…
but something doesn’t feel right.

You’re more on edge than you used to be.
You can’t fully switch off.
And even when you rest, it doesn’t really reset anything.

So you keep going.
Because from the outside, everything looks fine.

But inside?
It feels flat.
Heavy.
Or like you’re not quite yourself anymore.

This isn’t just exhaustion.

It’s what happens when your system has been under pressure for too long, and it doesn’t switch off just because you take a break.

That’s why rest alone isn’t fixing it.

Our inner world is always shifting…
from calm… to chaos… to clarity again.

One moment, it’s sunny—you feel grounded.
The next, dark clouds start to form and the thunder hits…
you’re overwhelmed, anxious, overstimulated, reactive.
And you find yourself wondering, why am I like this?

In the middle of the storm,
it’s so easy to believe this is who I am.
To let emotions—anger, sadness, numbness, avoidance drive your actions and decisions.

But it’s not.

It’s just your inner weather shifting. 🌧️

Frustration turns into anger.
Anger softens into sadness.
Sadness opens into reflection.
And sometimes… even growth.

Emotions don’t stay still.
They unfold. They move. They pass.

Just like the weather.

And no matter how intense the storm feels…
we know one thing is always true:

☀️ The sun returns.

So instead of fighting what you feel,
learn to sit with it, understand it,
and let it move through you.

What feels heavy today won’t last forever.

“Is self-love selfish?”

It’s a question many people carry quietly.

Especially the ones who hold everything together.
Who put others first.
Who feel guilty for slowing down.

But self-love isn’t about becoming self-centred.

It’s about learning to treat yourself with the same care you offer everyone else.

Listening when you’re tired.
Honouring your limits.
Resting without shame.

It isn’t selfish.
It’s necessary.

And often, it’s where healing begins🤍
