Oh no, another yoga book randomly showed up in my letterbox 🤣

I haven't read it yet, but it seems like this one might be super useful for anyone who attends yoga classes and wants to know a little bit more about the practice but not go into the depths of teacher training.

Another review to add to the list.

📢 All change please, all change!

After much deliberation and chatting with regulars, I've decided to move my hatha yoga class to Monday evenings, 5.30pm - 6.30pm, starting on 4th August.

Join me on the mat for a physical and mental reset from busy Mondays and set your intention for the week ahead, you'll feel great after!

Time for another recommended read.....this one is more of a visual guide, so there's not much for me to describe on a reel, which is why I'm posting a photo instead.

These two books from were invaluable during my yoga teacher training, as they are visual notes from Eva-Lotta's own teacher training a few years ago (book on the left) and a guide on how to sketch asanas (book on the right).

Yes, believe it or not, there's an art to it!! Drawing stickman asanas for your session plans can actually be quite tricky, as not all of them are easy to represent visually.

These books are particularly useful if you're doing your teacher training and are widely available on major retailers.

Due to Open Gardens taking place in the village hall this weekend, yoga will be at the Church instead.

❗️For chair yoga, you can bring a cushion in case the chairs aren't very comfortable or use the available kneelers

We will be back at the village hall next weekend as usual.

I'm quite busy this week covering yoga classes, so I don't have much time to post, but I wanted to come online quickly just to say:

If you're coming to class on Saturday make sure to bring water and a towel as the temperature will already be 24/25 degrees at the time of our classes.

I will try to keep the venue as cool as possible.
