📣 Attention please, I have some exciting news and updates! Please read below or swipe on the pictures.

1. The price of chair yoga will be £6 starting in October to reflect the extension to 45 minutes

2. I'm starting a new Hatha yoga class at Hanslope village hall on 2nd October. The class will run on Thursday evenings 5.30-6.30pm

3. As I'll be running two hatha yoga classes per week I thought it was a good opportunity to create a new class pass if you wish to attend both classes each week. It costs £50 and it lasts 30 days.

Thanks everyone for supporting your local small business, as being a yoga teacher is a side gig that I do for fun/enjoyment, and I never expected to have 3 classes going only 6 months after completing my training!
That's it for the time being as I'm at capacity for what I can do on my spare time. 🧘🏻‍♀️😃

September is just around the corner, so I've started class planning!

I'm very excited to be introducing monthly themes to add variety to my classes 😃

Next month we'll explore the earth element, which represents the root chakra or Muladhara, the first of the seven chakras in yoga.

See you on the mat next Monday (1st September) and on the chair next Saturday (6th September)!

And that's a wrap for August, chair and hatha yoga will return in September as it's time for a break to rest and reset.

I can't believe I only started my yoga teaching journey in April this year...so much has happened since then!

I'm only a small (or even micro) business, and very thankful for each and everyone of you that walks through the doors for hatha or chair yoga.

I'm also incredibly grateful to the Milton Keynes leisure centres and yoga teachers that have put their trust in me to cover their classes. Since April I have covered a grand total of 14 classes (2 Pilates and the rest were a mix of hatha and chair yoga, I can't recall how many of which), and I have a handful more to cover in September.

Even more so, I'm grateful for the team of my day job (yes, teaching yoga doesn't fully pay the bills) for being so enthusiastic about my yoga teacher training and accidentally leading me down the path of chair yoga, as not everyone owns mats.

September will bring new sequences and maybe it's time to introduce some props too!

Tomorrow is our last class of August and it's going to be a hot day, so we'll be starting in child's pose, move more intentionally, and slowly to allow our bodies to restore from the heat.

Oh no, another yoga book randomly showed up in my letterbox 🤣

I haven't read it yet, but it seems like this one might be super useful for anyone who attends yoga classes and wants to know a little bit more about the practice but not go into the depths of teacher training.

Another review to add to the list.
