Edward Charles Knight of Newport, peacefully passed away on Wednesday 4th February 2026 at home surrounded by his family, aged 94. After a long illness. A much-loved Husband (Old Goat), Granch, Great Granch, Brother, Uncle & Friend. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.

A funeral service will take place in memory of Edward on Tuesday 24th March 2026 at 1pm at Langston Crematorium Newport. Donations in memory of Edward are being sent to St David’s Hospice and can be given on the day or via the Funeral Directors. The family have requested for Family Flowers Only.

Recently, we came together to farewell a truly special lady who was dearly loved by so many. The service, conducted by Orlando at Edington Church, brought family, friends, and so many from the community together to celebrate a life that meant so much to so many.

After the service, she was laid to rest at Catcott Church in her beloved home village. It was a heartfelt and fitting farewell for a well-known lady from Catcott, fondly remembered for her kindness, warmth, and the love she so generously shared. 🤍

Gary McCarthy peacefully passed away on Sunday 25th January 2026 aged 65 at Musgrove Park Hospital surrounded by his loved ones. A much-loved Partner, Son, Dad, Step Dad, Grandad, Brother, Uncle, Friend and a countless father figure to many. He will be deeply missed by everyone that knew him. ❤️

A funeral service will take place in memory of Gary on Monday 16th February 2026 at 3pm at Sedgemoor Crematorium.
