A real privilege to have been invited in to 40 Commando Royal Marines in Taunton to talk to the next generation of Commandos about my journey and the creation of the Green Spirit Retreat. Humbling to see so much bright talent and so encouraging to see the Royal Marines continuing to lead from the front with human performance, embracing all things holistic wellbeing under the steady hand of their very capable Physical Training Inductors - Sam Woodin great work 💪🙏🌿💚🇬🇧
Also very moving to have been invited (back) into the famous 'Les Lounge' - this was a bar we built in memory of our good friend Marine Paul Lesley, an Aplha Company brother, who was tragically killed on Exercise Blackhorse with us in the USA in 2002. I still have the Alpha Saint tattoo on my back in memory of Les - it's the only Corps' tattoo I have and I'll always keep it. The Les lounge has now grown into a bar AND coffee lounge which has even been blessed by the Padre! A fitting tribute to a great man! RIP Les mate 💚
