Help with food
Wirral Foodbank works with local agencies to help people who are struggling to put food on the table. If you need an emergency food parcel, you can call Wirral Brough Council on
0151 606 2005 (select option 4) who can also assess you for help for Wirral Foodbank.
Help with utilities
If you are having problems topping up your gas and electricity because of financial hardship, you should contact your energy supplier.
We can only help with your gas and electricity if your need is urgent, and you are on a pre-payment meter.

Emergency Duty Team (EDT)
Call the Emergency Duty Team on 0151 677 6557 to report abuse, neglect or an adult at risk if it is past 5pm Monday to Friday, or it is a weekend or bank holiday. If services are required urgently, a social care professional can provide a temporary service without a needs assessment.
