Today we are in the energy of the New Moon and a Solar Eclipse.

New Moon or Dark Moon relates to resting, going within, feeling into your stillness into your peace. It is at this time of the new moon we need to give ourselves permission to rest, to nurture and to honour these feelings. When we allow ourselves to go within, to rest, to become still we can hear our inner voice, our intuition, the voice that always tells us the truth, the voice, that when allowed to be heard helps to guide our feet and walk in our truth our Sat Nam, the voice that knows what is best for us.

In last night's yoga session, we worked with the energy of the New Moon and the Earth, creating a space within to evoke stillness and peace.
Conscious breathing allowed the anxieties of the day to transmute and the gentle stretches relieved stiff joints and muscles releasing toxins that gather when we are in a state of being constantly in demand or on the go.
We ended our session with a beautiful heartfelt kundalini meditation connecting our love to ourselves, opening our heart centre then projecting out to all, bringing back to us protection and love of the universe, this helped to create the space so that we are able to plant new seeds of new beginnings to root and grow with the moon over the next few weeks.

Working with the natural energies of the Earth, the Elements, the Moon and Sun helps us to realign with Nature herself bringing us back into a natural rhythm which sustains us, nourishes us and give us a sense of well being.

Thought I would share this beautifully written piece of work by a gifted Intuitive and Energy/Light worker Amanda Lorence.

LOVE LIES IN THE SPACES IN-BETWEEN:

Love lies not in the music,
But in the spaces in-between each note,
In the nuances of those spaces,
Is All Love.

Love lies not in human words spoken,
But in the feeling between each word.
Many hold a dire need to speak,
Not realising, that which they desire,
Is found in the unspoken.

Love lies not in speaking out loud,
But in the feeling inside.
For when we halt incessant neediness to be heard,
We start to hear, between the spaces.
The spaces that hold All Love.

Love does not force another to listen,
Love does not drain another with many words,
Love holds space, the space in-between,
The space of ever-lasting Love.

We move now to new horizons,
Where sensing becomes the joys of the known.
To feel the space in-between that is Love,
To touch without words,
To see the space another holds.

Where endless chatter and the need to be heard,
Are no longer necessary or primary.
As the delicate and the subtle planes of love are felt,
In the unspoken expanding expression,
Of the spaces in-between.

To love, is not to command attention.
To love, is not to be the needy.
To Love, is not to contrive.
Or push against the flow.
To love is to BE exactly that, Love.
A Presence.

In all the spaces within your heart.
Between and beyond every heart beat,
Between and beyond every in and out breath,
Between and beyond every sun rise and set.
Between and beyond every single rain drop,
Lies Love waiting to be known once more.

Be the space, Be Love. And be Loved.
Love is simple.
Ever dwelling within all to choose.
It will wait an eternity to be met.
Lived through.
And then... it is known once more.
In all moments of Being.

Very often in my Mindful Yoga classes I emphasize tapping into the spaces in between the breath, for that is where you will find the peace and stillness within you, your presence!! Pure love!
New classes will be starting mid September at Greenside Methodist, Gildersome, if you would love to join me, I will post the dates over the coming week.

This evening session we will work with breath, a kriya to help build and strengthen the nervous system, and a beautiful meditation and relaxation to finish.
The times we are living in are so challenging at the moment, with the constant barrage of news and global events, my sessions are suitable for beginners.
Kundalini works on our mental body, emotional body and physical body these are just three of the ten bodies we have, just imagine your physical body as your overcoat, there is more to YOU than you believe to be. Kundalini also works with the chakra system, and your meridians or your energy pathways, helping to build a strong immune system, clarity, focus, self esteem and self confidence, finding these within yourself will help you discover who you really are, recognising and listening to that inner voice, intuition, the voice of your soul., your Sat Nam your truth, your true being.

This brand new class is a fusion of Kundalini and Mindful Yoga.
I hold an International Kundalini Teaching Certificate since 2014. I also teach Yoga Nidra and Mindfullness.

The session will concentrate of breath, gentle stretches, meditation and music, bringing a sense of rest, relaxation and a general feeling of well being. I look forward to meeting you.

Please let me know if you will be attending by sending me a message as I will have to be aware of numbers.
Bring along a mat, cushion, blanket and some water. If you do not own a mat, a blanket will be fine for this evening.
You can pay cash, although bank transfer would be preferable.
