I was happy to be asked to restore this memorial plaque which is fitted into a church wall, after cleaning the build up of lichen which is caused by weathering and repainting the lettering I couldn’t have been more thrilled with the results, this lovely memorial now stand out from the wall and can be easily seen. One of the many services we offer to remember your loved ones.

I was so happy to be able to restore the gilding on this beautiful steel grey granite memorial, sadly the gold had completely gone from the lettering leaving only the yellow seize base. A good clean to start with had the little flecks in the granite glistening and once the lettering was redone is was looking lovely once again.

Sometimes over time memorials can become wobbly and unstable, a new foundation and refix remedied that for this black granite headstone, I gave it a complimentary clean and it looks lovely now.

We fitted this plaque a few weeks back and our customer loved it but felt the name didn’t stand out as she had wanted, it was no bother to change the lettering to white and I think you will agree it’s done the trick. 😊.

Another beautiful date stone. Tuffeau stone from the Loire Valley was supplied by the customer and is on its way back to France today plus a little treat as appreciation for all of our efforts. We are blessed to have such lovely customers.

Something quite different from headstones this week, my spec was to clean but keep the character of it 😊 and that is not easy but looks great now with its newly painted lettering, ironic that my hubby Martin Bugsy Roberts made this some 20+ year ago.

Cleaning and restoring the lettering on George and Muriel’s memorial was a pleasure, the gold was glinting in the summer sun, if you look in the first pic notice the rose bowl looked like it had soil in it but was actually full of red ants 😬, these were relocated to a nicer environment and luckily I wasn’t bitten, all part of the service lol.

This was a lovely restoration job to do, 2 very different memorials for the same family, a granite headstone and slate plaque, both had letter deterioration and lichen build up due to the elements. After being thoroughly cleaned the lettering on the headstone was repainted along with the slate plaque. A service we offer.
