**📢 Important Update for Our Patients**

We’d like to remind you that local pharmacists are now signed up to the **Pharmacy First** service, funded by the government. This means they can be your **first port of call** for advice and treatment for the following common conditions:

✅ Ear infections (age 1-17 year olds)
✅ Sinus infections (age 12 years and older)
✅ Sore throats (age 5 years and older)
✅ Urinary tract infections (UTIs) (women aged16-64 years)
✅ Impetigo (age 1 year and over)
✅ Shingles (age 18 years and older)
✅ Infected insect bites (age 1 year and older)

Pharmacists can provide expert advice and, where appropriate, prescribe medication without the need for a GP appointment. This helps reduce waiting times and ensures you get the care you need quickly.

Please make use of this service whenever possible, it’s designed to make things easier for you.

Traffic around the surgery is higher than usual due to the Back Moore closure.

Please allow enough travel time to arrive for you appointments.

This is a simple to use service that is now available in our area. You can simply sign up online and answer a few questions the kits are then posted out to your door.
