With the end of 2025 only hours away, we can reflect on what a year of chanting it has been for Kirtan Highland. Thank you all for coming along and sharing this together.

Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu said "In every town and village, the chanting of My name will be heard" and we will continue to serve His mission by reaching out to more corners of the Highlands and beyond.

In 2025, we've chanted in Muir of Ord, Inverness, Belladrum, Findhorn, Perth, Lesmahagow, Italy, Birmingham and beyond. Here a selection of images from those places.

We wonder where 2026 will take us?! And we hope you will be there with us, to chant together.

What a year it’s been.

From Heal Scotland across Skye, Aberfeldy, Nairn, and Strontian…
to Belladrum, Findhorn, The Retreat at Riverside Chalet, Perth, Solas Festival, Bike Shed and ofcourse the Yurt!🛖
So many rooms, fires, voices, and moments of stillness shared.

These photos are from Aberfeldy, a beautiful coming together with Keltic Kirtan, where Kirtan Highland and Keltic Kirtan met and merged for something simple and heartfelt.

Thank you to everyone who’s come along regularly, and to those who joined us for the first time this year. Your presence is the offering.
And a huge thank you to Lorena our photographer for always getting the best capture of love and happiness!

We’ll see you in 2026 for more love, devotion, and time spent singing together.

Fancy a wee afternoon of pure heart song and connection? Come along to our Kirtan at the Sunshine Room. It’s that magical call-and-response chanting that just melts away the everyday noise and brings folk together.

No faff at all if you’re new to it, just show up with your voice (or even just a hum!), an open heart, and let the mantras do their thing. We’ve had folk from all walks of life join in, from first timers to old hands, and it always feels like coming home.

In the scriptures, it’s said that when cows hear the holy names -
Hare Krishna Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna Hare Hare
Hare Rama Hare Rama, Rama Rama Hare Hare….
they become joyful, their hearts purified, and the whole atmosphere becomes blessed.

The sound of the mantra sanctifies the land, the air, and all living beings nearby. Even the cows, with their pure hearts, naturally respond, making such moments deeply auspicious. 🌿🐄✨
