Today we hosted our Discovery Day. It has been such a fantastic afternoon, thanks to our wonderful team and everyone who joined us. 😊

We had a lovely time welcoming guests to explore what makes our specialist dementia care home so special. 🏡

Guests enjoyed guided tours of our beautifully designed care home and vibrant community spaces. They also enjoyed a delicious lunch prepared by our talented chefs.

🎨 Channelling our inner artists! 🎶

We enjoyed a wonderfully relaxed creative session with water painting and colouring, all while listening to favourite tunes on the record player.

🎶 A musical afternoon in The Grove! 🎶

Our regular entertainer Steve Wright once again worked his magic, filling The Grove with fantastic songs from across the eras. Residents enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of singing and dancing! 💛✨

Sunday Funday!

Our residents enjoyed relaxing 1‑1 pampering sessions with Amanda, including hand and foot treatments plus some fresh hair washes and blow‑dries. 💅

In the afternoon we played records on the record player, enjoyed some fun card games, and tucked into delicious cakes and coffee. 🎶🃏☕️

We also celebrated a special birthday, a big Happy Birthday to our lovely Dorothy! 🎂💛

A perfect Sunday filled with smiles and good company.

🎈 Balloon Tennis Fun! 🎈

The other day, we had a great time playing balloon tennis! Our residents really discovered their competitive side, and before long, we were all working up a sweat.

After the games, we enjoyed delicious cakes with tea and coffee and we watched the classic film Shirley Valentine. What a fantastic time together! 💛

🧩 A Morning of Activities 🧩

Residents enjoyed a busy morning with plenty of activity choices! From listening to favourite records and playing 'Play Your Cards Right' to tackling brain puzzles and colouring, it was a lovely way to spend time together.

❄️ Winter walks around the village ❄️

Residents wrapped up warm and enjoyed a refreshing stroll through our gardens and surrounding woodland. It was a lovely way to make the most of the crisp winter air and beautiful scenery.
