Hi and thanks for visiting our page! A little bit about ourselves: Both of us are originally British, but when we met Danielle had already been living in the US for 20 years, is a citizen and considers herself more American than British. She moved to London to be with Ben for a few years before we moved together to NYC about a year, where we now live. We met in 2010 in Los Angeles when Ben was visiting for work. A mutual friend had asked Danielle to show Ben around LA. By the end of the evening we knew this was something special. In 2014 we were married in NYC, halfway between Danielle’s friends in LA and Ben’s in London. We both love to travel and visit different countries whenever we can, both back to the UK where Ben’s family is, to LA where Danielle’s family is, and to other destinations as much as time and money allow! We have a small dog called Bella who’s a big part of our family and comes on our trips as well where possible. I think it’s fair to say we’re an easy going and down to earth couple that get on with everyone. Job: Finance
Education: BEng Civil Engineering with Spanish, MSc Information Technology
Interests: Keeping fit, being outside, learning new things and meeting new people. A bit more about Danielle. Job: Veterinarian
Education: BS Veterinary Medicine, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
Interests: Hiking with Bella, tennis, yoga, boxing classes for keeping fit (I even teach a bit after becoming qualified)
We’ve been working through fertility difficulties for years now. As for many others, the emotional rollercoaster through all the different approaches we’ve tried has been incredibly difficult. But we’re through it, stronger as a couple and more determined than ever to build a family. We understand that birth mothers have different views and desires how this process should work. We’re desperate for a baby to cherish and make part of our family, and if you, like some birth mothers, want stay in touch then that’s great. If you don’t then we also respect that as well. Both our families feel exactly the same way. Whichever route you choose we will never be judgmental, but supportive and eternally grateful.
