The second item i use frequently as part of my daily routine. I offer clients the use of the equilibrium massage pad should I think they need it. It won't replace my hands as treatment but can be used to warm up the back bedor treatment.

I use it when I have a few horses on 1 yard as it warms the back up ready for treatment.

The Equilibrium Massage Pad was independently tested by Myerscough College and the findings showed:

Increased Flexibility
Results showed an overall improvement in back flexibility of approximately 46%.

Promoting Relaxation
Using a heart rate monitor, horses wearing the Equilibrium Massage Pad showed a decrease in heart rate when compared to the horses in the control group.

If youre interested in hiring this then please get in touch. £20 for use alone or free with full body treatment.

Incase you didnt realise... I do offer other treatments alongside massage therapy.
I will be showcasing these over the next few days so keep an eye out.
The first of them is ultrasound therapy which is a non-invasive, painless physical therapy treatment using high-frequency sound waves to stimulate deep tissue, increase blood flow, and speed up healing. Primarily used for soft tissue injuries (ligaments, muscles, tendons), it reduces pain, inflammation, and scar tissue.
So , if you think this might help your horse or pony then get in touch to find out more.

So... I've been listening to some peoples comments and understand they have questions. I always do my very best to answer them as well as I can. Sometimes those answers aren't what the client wants to hear, but, please know I have your horses and ponies best interests at heart.
Some FAQ ....

Can you fix my horse in 1 treatment?

First off.. "fix" is a pretty strong word and whilst I do my best to get people to understand the complex factors involved in "fixing" a horse , I am unable to find a quick fix or cure in 1 session. Can 1 session help? Of course it can... one massage treatment can provide benefits, particularly for short-term relief, relaxation, and reducing immediate stress. While it is unlikely to fix chronic or deep-seated issues on its own, a single session can immediately reduce stress hormones and relax your horse. Regular treatments are needed in most cases.

Mini massage for my own horse Bal straight after his ride out. He wanted a nap in the doorway instead of heading out to the field with his buddy

So happy to see 2 of the ponies I treat win their individual class competitions for pony club games. Well done to Harry and Scotty (grey) and Gracie and Dora. Smashed it. They have regular treatments to keep them supple and sound for competitions like this.

Message me for any information on treatments and what your horse might need.

I get my clients to do carrot stretches in between regular treatments.

Flexibility: Carrot stretches can help improve a horse's flexibility and range of motion

Balance: Carrot stretches can help improve a horse's balance

Core strength: Carrot stretches can help build a horse's core strength

Mobility: Carrot stretches can help increase a horse's mobility in sore or tight joints

Stiffness: Carrot stretches can help reduce stiffness and resistance in a horse's neck and back muscles

Help your horse with these whilst you're waiting for your next appointment

Zally... who stopped to drink 3 times during her treatment. Its important to allow the horse the freedom to take a drink should they need it. (If safe to do so)
