Woodside is buzzing with work-in-progress projects as we gear up for our Christmas Fête next month!

All hands are on deck, creating wonderful handmade crafts.

But perhaps the best part? Setting up the display tables and showcasing everyone's hard work and creativity.

You’re never too old to learn something new — and here at Woodside, we’re always eager to grow our minds and expand our talents!

Woodside Wishes You a Happy and Healthy October!

Through the windows, we see the leaves on the trees turning beautiful shades of yellow and brown—a sure sign that winter is on its way.

But before we get there, let’s take time to enjoy the wonders of Autumn!

At Woodside, Autumn brings colourful and spooky activities. We're kicking off the month with some eerie fun, all the way to Halloween.

Keep an eye out for spooky pumpkins, mysterious ghosts, and chilling sounds in the air...

Woodside Decorates Its Walls with Personalised Photographs!

Life at Woodside is as unique as each individual who lives here.
Throughout the day, we offer a wide variety of activities tailored to everyone’s hobbies and interests.

Thanks to the help of many willing hands, Woodside has created a beautiful new display board!
It features a wonderful collection of photographs capturing everyone enjoying different activities and outings to local venues.

There were so many fantastic moments to choose from, it was a challenge deciding which ones to include!

Woodside hosts special activity days that encourage everyone to dance, sing, and connect with each another. These events are not only a great way to stay active, but they also play an important role in building meaningful relationships among residents.

At the heart of the care we provide is a focus on positivity and well-being.

Music and movement are powerful tools that support this — helping to uplift spirits while offering carers valuable insights into each resident’s personality and preferences. This understanding allows us to tailor future activities and continue delivering the high standard of care Woodside is known for.

The residents had a fantastic afternoon, spending time on their feet singing, dancing, and enjoying drinks together. There was a lively atmosphere throughout, with staff members also joining in on the fun and sharing a few dances with our residents.

Moments like these are truly special — they not only bring joy and energy to the Home, but also help to strengthen the bonds between residents and staff, creating a sense of community and connection that’s at the heart of everything we do.

Autumn at Woodside!

Autumn is always a busy and beautiful time here at Woodside!

As the temperatures begin to drop outside, indoors are kept warm and cosy with the heating on—and of course, enjoying plenty of rich food and delicious hot chocolate drinks.

There’s something truly enchanting about the way the season transforms the landscape.

Woodside's Autumn activities are already underway, and excitement is building as everyone looks ahead to Halloween!
Tin cans are being collected to use in some fun and creative Halloween crafts—stay tuned to see what we make!

Woodside was on a winning streak at Bingo!

Not just one win… not two… not even three… but FOUR amazing wins! 🎉

With 2 lines and 2 full houses, Woodside walked away with a bottle of perfume, some luxurious body wash, a box of chocolates, and a beautiful vase of flowers.

What an afternoon to remember — Woodside was definately on a roll! 💐🍫🎁✨

Woodside Makes Every Moment Count!

During our regular Wellbeing class, residents enjoyed a variety of relaxing and engaging activities.
Bingo brought smiles and a touch of friendly competition, in the break, time was spent knitting and chatting over a warm drink.
A delightful selection of sweets, biscuits, and cakes added a little indulgence to the afternoon — a perfect blend of comfort and community.
