Woodside would like to say a BIG thank you to DJ Phil and his wife for their kindness in entertaining everyone this afternoon!

There was non-stop music and dancing for over two hours, with the lounge filled with joy, laughter, and wonderful energy throughout.

A fantastic variety of songs were played, bringing smiles to faces and getting everyone involved.

It truly was a memorable afternoon that will be talked about for a long time to come—thank you again for such a special experience!

Woodside is excited to announce a wonderful new form of entertainment taking place this Monday afternoon! 🎶

A very kind family member has generously offered to bring in his stereo, complete with a collection of classic LPs, for everyone to enjoy.

A huge thank you to DJ Phil – Woodside truly appreciates your kindness and thoughtfulness.

Woodside is looking forward to an afternoon of great music, nostalgia, and plenty of “shake, rattle and roll”! 💃🕺

Spring is in the air at Woodside! 🌸☀️

Residents have been making the most of the beautiful, sunny weather with a lovely visit to the gardens after the long, cold winter.

It was the perfect opportunity for Woodside’s 2026 Gardening Club to come together, do a spot of weeding, and start planning for new flowers and vegetables in the months ahead.

Everyone enjoyed relaxing in the warm sunshine, listening to the birds singing in the trees and soaking up the peaceful surroundings.

There truly is nothing better than being close to nature. 🌿

Woodside thoroughly enjoyed its St. Patrick’s Day celebrations!

At Woodside, we believe that one is never too old to learn something new—and what better way than through dancing!

Woodside embraced the spirit of the day by enjoying some Irish music and even trying a few Irish dance moves.

From gentle swaying to lively tapping steps, there was plenty of laughter, joy, and wonderful energy throughout the home.

Dancing not only brought smiles to everyone’s faces, but also created special moments of connection, fun, and celebration.

Tuesday holds St Patrick’s Day! 🍀

Woodside will be celebrating the occasion by listening to Irish music, playing Lucky Bingo, and enjoying a variety of fun games.

The afternoon will be filled with watching Riverdance and perhaps even dancing a little Irish jig!

It promises to be a wonderful day of laughter, music and celebration for everyone at Woodside House. 💚

Today we celebrate the wonderful ladies who are part of the Woodside family.

Our residents and staff share a special community filled with kindness, laughter and care, and we are proud to say that Woodside holds a whole lot of love within its walls.

If anyone would like to have their very own Reg, Corkie or Carys, Woodside is delighted to be able to offer them to the public.

Orders can be placed through reception or by contacting our Wellbeing Co-ordinator, Lesley Faccini.

Reg the Rabbit and Carys the Cat can also be created in a variety of different colours, making each one a unique handmade piece.

All monies raised will go directly towards Woodside’s Resident Fund, helping to support activities, giving special treats and extra entertainment.
