Nimble fingers were hard at work at Woodside, bringing a flutter of colour to life with beautiful handmade butterflies.

Using old magazines, everyone enjoyed flicking through the pages in search of bold patterns and vibrant colours.

Each carefully chosen page was transformed as shapes were cut out with precision and care.

With a touch of creativity, origami folds were used to form delicate wings, before being neatly glued together.

Finally, the finishing touch—tiny feelers—were added to complete each unique butterfly.

A simple activity filled with creativity, focus, and a splash of colour—proving that even the smallest creations can bring the biggest smiles.

Today was a fabulously fun and creative day at Woodside! 🎨🐣

The room was buzzing with excitement as Easter hats began to come to life—feathers, flowers, and a sprinkle of imagination everywhere you looked!

No two creations were the same, and the creativity on display was simply egg-straordinary! 👒✨

This dazzling duo couldn’t wait to try on their handmade masterpieces, striking a pose and making sure their hats were parade-ready. But it wasn’t just about style… oh no… a little friendly competition is in the air!

They were overheard whispering about the upcoming Easter Bonnet Parade this Sunday, with one cheeky comment stealing the show: “I’ll be the first to wear mine proudly… and mine will DEFINITELY be the winner!” 🏆🐰

During one puzzle activity sessions, Woodside enjoyed taking part in a word search challenge.

It was a fun and stimulating activity that encouraged concentration, problem-solving, and a sense of achievement when those hidden words were found.

Activities like these are not only enjoyable, but also support cognitive wellbeing by helping to improve memory, focus, and mental agility.

In this craft session, residents began designing the face of a bunny.

It’s not quite finished yet, but once complete, it will be proudly displayed for all to admire.

🐣 An Egg-stra Special Time at Woodside! 🐣

It’s that time of year again, where Woodside transforms it's rooms into an Easter egg-stravaganza!

Everyone has been busy getting creative, taking part in a variety of wonderful arts and crafts sessions.

In this session, beautiful Easter eggs were painted in vibrant, eye-catching colours, while adorable Easter bunnies were carefully created in lovely shades of greys, browns and whites.

The room was filled with creativity, colour and plenty of smiles — it truly was an egg-cellent activity! 🎨✨
