Don’t forget this Wednesday the living well bus is coming to Morrisons offering cervical screening with no appointment needed, just drop by!

Data shows poor uptake for cervical screening in our area. Please encourage anyone you know, who is eligible, to attend for this important screening test.

If these dates aren’t convenient, you can still book an appointment through your GP practice. Appointments are available evenings and Saturdays.

Hi 👋Fancy a chat? I'm Dawn, the Family Hub Navigator for Pendle and although I may be a familiar face to some of you, I'm looking forward to meeting some more Pendle families.

If there's something you need to talk about, I'll be making my way around our Family Hubs over the next couple of weeks with advice, information and possibly biscuits. I'll also be dropping into a few groups to talk to any families who might be interested in helping to form a parent/carer forum to help shape our delivery.

I'll be at Colne Family Hub all day on Tuesday 6th January, and Nelson Family Hub/The Zone on Wednesday 7th January. I'll also be at Brierfield Family Hub on Monday 19th January.

Don't worry if you can't get to these sessions though, I will definitely be around more in the coming months

MMRV is now part of the NHS routine childhood vaccination programme, replacing the MMR vaccine.

It protects against measles, mumps, rubella and chickenpox.

Chickenpox is very common and can sometimes lead to serious complications, so vaccination helps reduce the risk of serious illness as children grow.

You don’t need to do anything — your GP will be in touch when your child is due.
