Acupuncture & PCOS – Promising New Research!

A recent study published in Medical Dialogues highlights the potential of acupuncture in treating PCOS (Polycystic O***y Syndrome).

The research suggests that acupuncture may help regulate hormonal balance, improve ovulation, and reduce PCOS symptoms, offering a natural and effective approach to managing this common condition.

The British Acupuncture Council is the 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 UK membership organisation for Acupuncturists that has standards independently checked by the government backed Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This standard guarantees that you will find an acupuncturist who is
a) degree level trained and
b) subject to independently verified standards of good governance

This means that when you choose a BAcC member you know they are independently assessed to be well trained, safe and subject to ongoing professional standards.

24th October is World Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (AOM) Day..
It was established in 2002 with the goal of raising awareness of the many advantages and opportunities that AOM presents to patients globally.
The field encompasses techniques like tai chi, qi gong, yoga, herbal medicine, and relaxation techniques as well as acupuncture.
Together we all celebrate the increased attention being paid to these methods and the growing acknowledgement they receive from government authorities and scientific studies.
