✨ A little studio rule update – please read 🤍
We’ve been having lots of gentle chats behind the scenes and we’re introducing a new lateness policy.
We know life happens and sometimes being late is unavoidable which initially made me feel resistive to make a strict rule. However to be completely honest, when someone arrives late it can be disruptive to classes, the flow of the session, and the experience for everyone in the room. We need to get you set up properly and safely also.
To keep things fair and calm for all, we’ll now be allowing a 2-minute grace period from the class start time. After this we won’t be able to let anyone into the studio once the class has begun. The door will be locked and sadly you would lose your class and it would count as a late cancellation.
For new clients especially we need time to:• ask about injuries• check in with you• explain equipment• allow you to settle in calmly
If you haven't been to us before, please check our FAQs & location page beforehand.
We leave a 15-minute gap between classes to give people time to arrive, settle and not be back to back rushing in and out.
One more little note 🫶Please don’t arrive too too early, 10 minutes before class is perfect. This allows us to change groups over and take a breath before welcoming you in. If you do arrive early please wait outside until it’s 10 minutes before entering.
This decision hasn’t been taken lightly but ultimately this feels like the right step to protect the experience for everyone.
Thank you, as always, for understanding, supporting the studio, and helping keep Divinity a calm, respectful, and beautiful space ✨
This is aimed at nobody particular - we still love ya no matter what haha and if you have been late it is okay but we just need to have something set now going forward.
Love always, Jess🥰
