Fungal nail - what you need to know..
Fungal nail infection, which is also known as Onychomycosis is a common condition that affects the nails on both toes and fingers. A fungal nail infection makes the nail become thickened, crumbly and the nail to lift off. This can cause the pain to the the skin and nail bed.
Fungal nail can firstly show as white discoloration to the nail, which can then lead to other symptoms such as:
👣 Thickening of the nail
👣 Crumbly and brittle nails
👣 Distorted nail shape
👣 The nails could become dark yellow, brown, green or even grey or black.
👣 In some cases there could be a foul odour
