That was such an exciting start to the class! We got to meet Ted 🐶 He was loved by everyone—even Harry managed a stroke!

Another amazing session with our trainee coaches and student athletes! 💪

Today we mixed things up with a strength circuit flowing straight into a core section.

Love seeing the weights creeping up and the big improvements in balance!

And as always… non-stop laughter 😄🔥

What a start to the trainee coaching program!

We spent our first hour in a warm environment, planning and discussing which exercises to run.

Once our student athletes arrived, they were keen to get going—though not before Trish and Paul showed off their Christmas hoodies to the group!

Great to see everyone back, moving, and full of energy 💪🎄

Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas! Not long to go now until the wheelbarrow race! 🎄✨

Once again, we have an Ability Wave, and I’m excited to share that we currently have 13 Barnability athletes taking part — which is absolutely unbelievable 🥰.

If anyone would like to join in the fun with this wave, please do get in touch! We have slightly more relaxed rules, so if on the day you see someone pushing an empty wheelbarrow, please give them the biggest cheer. Just standing up in front of the village and getting involved is an achievement in itself!

See you all on the first — we can’t wait! 💛

Last session of the year for Barnability! 🎄

We’re closing out 2025 with something we’re incredibly proud of — the launch of our Trainee Coaching Program.

This project is all about bringing the community together to support one another while developing skills in coaching, fitness, mobility, and social connection. Seeing people grow, learn, and help each other has been the perfect way to finish the year.

From one little barn elf… have a very Merry Christmas, and we’ll see you all in 2026! ✨

They’re perfect for keeping us warm while guiding our athletes around the barn, and they help us stand out so parents and carers can easily spot us.

Wheelbarrow race practice is well underway for the New Year’s Day fun race! 🥳
It’s a much-loved local tradition, and this will be the 3rd year of our inclusive category — something we’re incredibly proud of.

The excitement is definitely building (with a few nerves thrown in 😄), and we already have 13 teams signed up for the ability wave… how amazing is that! 💪✨
