A follow up for all of you who sent me names for tonight's remembrance ceremony. Please see photos and message below from the ceremony this evening.

Feeling blessed at sharing space with the grief and remembrance of others. There was so many names in the bowl and so much heat and love in the room from the light they all gifted!
A little something for each of you. An invitation to take from the words what feels right for you and to leave whatever does not✨💛✨💛✨💛✨

To all those who offered names to the bowl of love, know that grief and love are two parts of the story shared by each of you.
There is space for grief but there is also space for life. It is important to remember this on your journey ahead.

I (we) started the ceremony today with a song (Imelda May – Home) and a question ‘What is Love?...’

What indeed is love?...it occurs to me that it is simply all that you each gifted today in the names of those you sent. It is the love you each still feel that allows your loved ones to live on through each of you.

Love is not only the question, it is also the answer.

Love. Dearly, fiercely, frankly, honestly, compassionately, courageously. It does not matter how it only matters that you do. This is how you honour the memory of those you miss dearly. You love with all that you are able to give.

It is always enough.

May you each feel the love of those no longer with you supporting you to move forward.

Moving forward does not mean forgetting, it means honouring and remembering that love is the key to all the doors ahead.

May you each remember how much you are loved and the difference you make just by being you.

Be you.

Be love.

The world needs more of that!

And when you feel lost, overwhelmed or as if it is all too much. Take a moment, a breath and reach into your heart and hold on to the love you are offered this night. Sit in community with others. Ask for help. There is healing to be found in those spaces. There is healing to be found in love!

Holding each of you in love and hoping that as you move forward, the journey gifts you all you need to help you heal and feel the love you so very much deserve.

The holiday season is often a time when grief and loss can hit the hardest or feel the heaviest. It’s also a time where many of us want to honour those we miss in a special way.

In partnership with Northumberland VCSE Mental Health Alliance we’re offering a simple, inclusive way to honour the memory of loved ones by holding their names in a sacred space of love and gratitude.

It's our way of helping create a space for grief for those who can’t join an in person event or who are just not ready to share their grief with others or who perhaps just want to mark a point in the year in a special way.

I'll be doing a special ceremony on Sunday 28th December offering people the opportunity to send the names of those they miss (or want included for any other reason) to be held in a sacred space of love.

A candle will be lit at 7pm to honour both them and you, along with the journey you shared with each other.

Making space for grief is also making space for love so if you’d like to be involved simply share the name of the person(s) you would like honoured in the feed below or message me or email the details to ashleigh@soulnourishment.co.uk and I'll add them to the bowl of love ❤✨💖

It's wheel Wednesday in one of my groups today where we take a moment to honour the movement of the wheel of the year which today also happens to fall on the same day as the full moon!

Your simple short invitation today is to simply go and find the moon! Gaze upon its beauty, if it's hidden from your eye sing a song to it from your heart, send your wishes and dreams out for it to shine its light on them so the universe sees them more clearly and is more able to respond.

Howl at the moon, dance with the moon, create a playlist in honour of the moon it doesn't so much matter what you do to honour the moon it matters simply that you make the effort and acknowledge its magnificence, its beauty and the gifts it offers.

Go be and see the whole of the moon!

Just a little update regarding 'The Ancestors are Always With Me' Samhain celebration event on tomorrow (Friday)!

I'm very much looking forward to seeing those of you who are joining me tomorrow to create a little bit of magic with the Ancestors. Due to holidays and other such shenanigans our group is a little smaller than usual so there will be plenty of space, snacks and treasure for all! 😍💖😍

The next wheel of the year celebration is fast approaching!

This time round the celebration event for Samhain/Halloween will be at at Cresswell Village Hall on Friday 31st October where we will be going on a little adventure calling on the wisdom and love of the Ancestors to help us find the gifts and power we need to move through the season ahead.

You can then work with whatever appears and notice what you notice as your Soul opens to unlocking itself ready for the possibilities of the months ahead.

My use of the term ‘dance’ term does not necessarily have to mean ‘physical movement.’ Throughout the playlist section of the session, you can use your journal, stay still, move, write, draw, create, listen and everything in between so it should be accessible to all regardless of physical ability.

Normally our exchange is on a sliding scale of £20-25 but this time round as a special gift to each of you and the Ancestors i'm offering a special discount price of £15 for all of you! (If this is still a stretch for you in your current circumstances and you'd like to be involved please message me and we can discuss possibilities).

The cost will include your 2 1/2 hour workshop of music, meditation, motivation and mystery, all materials used as well as a free online version of the Samhain guidebook which will be filled with ideas, hint's, tips and activities that you can use to help celebrate and honour this point in the wheel.

In one of my groups we have a little activity called 'Wheel Wednesday' where an invitation is offered for each of us to ponder.

Today's invitation was inspired by some training as some of what we covered today reminded me of a poem by Rumi called 'The Guest House' and it made me curious about what would happen if we each stopped and paused for a little while to ponder Rumi's words while we considered where we each might be landing at this point in the wheel of the year.

What new arrivals have come into your life this month? Are you entertaining them or attempting to slam the door on them and hiding away?

Do you need a reminder that though they may be visiting you right now, they are indeed just guests and not permanent residents!?

Nothing lasts forever and perhaps when we realise this we can also recognise that it is through change that all things are possible.

I wonder perhaps what might be possible if we all took a moment to move into spaces of gratitude where we:
Stop.
Pause.
Listen.
Grow.

This was meant to be a Lammas day offering but due to circumstances and a little bit of NHS gratitude in-between it's a little later than intended but heartfelt all the same from me!

Perhaps Shamanic Monday was the next best day to put it out! 😍

Before I get to that point though I wanted to begin with some gratitude's for this week....
🌟Thank you to all the beautiful, amazing and magical women who were able to come and share the space of the Lammas Celebration with me last week at Pegswood. It was a joy.
🌟Thank you to those of you who couldn’t make it but still contribute to the energy and magic of the wheel of the year group. I am learning so much and am much more able to consciously move through the year as a result of the blessings I am gifted as a result.
🌟Thank you to the Spirits, to Wolf and Willow for joining us on our journey and for creating a holding for the magic that we created.
🌟Thank you to the musicians and their beautiful music that took us on our journey.
🌟Thank you for the spirit of fire that helped me release all that people didn’t want to take home with them as well as taking the requests of what they did want to the universe to hold and do what needs to be done.
🌟Thank you to anything or anyone I’ve forgotten to thank, all the helpers seen and unseen and the Spirit of Pegswood Welfare that holds and loves us each time we are there.
🌟 Thank you to the NHS and all those who work hard helping others despite the challenging circumstances. The NHS is a piece of magic we should all fight hard to keep.

There’s a magic in bringing more gratitude into our hearts and our everyday lives. I invite you to lean into that magic this week whilst we hold onto our Lammas themes of courage, resilience and gratitude.

The wheel of the year seems to be spinning fast this year! I wonder how many of us feel like it's hard to keep up?

I wonder whether we are still managing to find time to stop and pause and to take in all of the beauty that is around us. The flowers, the trees the butterflies, the bees...the bird song too! So much beauty around today!

It seems for me Wednesdays are always the craziest day so 'Wheel Wednesday' might just have to take a back burner to make space for 'Thought Full Thursday' instead within the groups I hold.

I know I could schedule the posts in advance but that never seems quite as meaningful to me as I want to capture the moment I am in when I write them!

If you want to delve a little further into dreaming deeply but in community with others the next threshold of the wheel is rapidly approaching with Lammas/Lughnasadh. This time around we're off on an adventure of courage, resilience and dreaming with the Wolf & The Willow.

Many of my groups have been working on seeking and/or finding their own Power Animals lately and it seems the themes for the Wheel of The Year events are following this thread as this time we'll have the help and power of Wolf as our guide along with the Willow tree.

Willow's gentle, steady holding will guide us into the dreamworld where Wolf will take us on a journey of self discovery to find the courage and resilience we need to follow our dreams and longings for the year ahead.

I do hope some of you can join me! I'll pin a post later with more information but for anyone who already knows they can or are called to come just comment below and I'll send you the form!!

Most people love Fridays because it's the end of their working week and they have the weekend free...not me...I love Fridays because that's the day I get to spend working in partnership with Northumberland Recovery College to run their Happiness & Meditation Club. I appreciate that I'm perhaps a little biased as I run it but it's one of the most nourishing and enriching spaces I could imagine! Each week I'm surrounded by amazing women who come together to remember and remind each other just how amazing they are!

Though our aim might be happiness that does not mean we exclude sadness or any of the other emotions that might overwhelm us or feel heavy. We work with them and hold each other in a space of support, deep listening and when invited to do so we offer help and guidance to whoever might be struggling so that they can find their own way.

Today I've witnessed, vulnerability, strength, deep listening, heart felt offerings and the magic of being heard. We have spent time in the silence so that we can hear the whispers that await us, we've reflected, we've set goals and made plans, we've opened up to softening our hearts and keeping each other going with guidance and support and all without judgement or the desire to jump in and 'fix' something or someone.

There's magic to be found in sitting in community with others. It helps us to remember more of who we are and allows us to be the light for others and ourselves if we just take the time to stop, pause and listen to our hearts and each other.

We've each taken a little reminder away today to support us to lean into creating a more 'Joyful July' this month and I thought I'd share that with each of you in case it might inspire you!

May you each find more joy as July unfolds and may you remember you are indeed enough. 🦋✨❤️

Summer Solstice Celebration Information

Summer solstice is almost upon us and I appreciate I'm almost a little late to the party with this one but here goes!!

Following a promise made to the lovely Arlene & Charlotte a couple of weeks ago about Shamanic Mondays I sat with my Spirits pondering how to create the space to get people to a point where they could join a shamanic journeying circle and they reminded me that I've already got a point set aside and what better time was there to cross a threshold into a Shamanic pathway than the one that presents itself at the Summer Solstice so that was the decision made!

This wheel of the year summer solstice celebration will be a little different to the previous ones (which also matches working with the Spirit of Change that the happiness club lot are exploring with me 😉)

There will still be celebration and ceremony but we'll also learn how to journey in a Shamanic way to meet our own Power Animal with the Spirit of the Drum as our guide so that we can each tap into the energetic support that is always there for us when we need it.

Shamanic journeying is a gift that can be learned by anyone and is accessible to all so if you'd like to cross the threshold and learn a little more to help you decide if it's for you this session might be a good place to start!

I also know there's a few of you in this group who already have experience in Shamanic journeying so if you'd still like to join us I'll give you a more advanced intention for your journey so you can start to deepen your relationship with your helping guide. There's something special about journeying with others and of returning to our beginnings that can often bring power and deepening to the relationships we hold and indeed you may even find yourself an additional helper as you do!

The room was already booked and the Spirits have said that it's time so I do hope some of you will be called and able to join me on the adventure despite the shorter notice!

Cost remains on a sliding scale of £20-£25 for your three hour workshop and you choose where you are on the scale. If this is a struggle and you'd really like to come along please do message me. This will include a free PDF booklet and a little spirit gift that I'll create to support the session and give you further information about shamanism alongside some suggestions to celebrate and honour the solstice this year.
