📣Our pregnancy social groups will be back up and running next week! The dates for our first sessions of the year are:

🤰Monday 5th January- Health Resource Centre, Benwell, NE4 8BE - 3:00- 4:30pm

🤰Wednesday 7th January- Byker Sands Centre, Byker, NE6 2FF- 10:00- 11:30am

🤰Thursday 8th January- The Haven, Kenton, NE3 3RX- 4:00- 5:30pm

🤰Friday 9th January- The Galafield Centre, Newbiggin Hall, NE5 1LZ - 1:00- 2:30pm

As always, all of our groups are free to attend and there is no need to pre-book. Come along for non-clinical pregnancy support or just for the social aspect!

📣A reminder that our service will be closed for the festive period from 4pm today (Tuesday 23rd December), and will reopen at 9am on Monday 5th January.

If you need support with your pregnancy during this time you can contact your midwife, health visitor, GP or other health care professional.

You can also access infant feeding telephone support from the National Breastfeeding Helpline who are open 24/7 every day of the year! You can reach them on 0300 100 0212.

Wow! What an incredible night we had at our New Borns New Norms antenatal event last night! 🤩

We had a fantastic turnout on a very dark and rainy evening; thank you so much to everyone who attended. Also a big thank you to our lovely host One Strawberry Lane

We wanted to share some of the wonderful feedback which we received:

🌟"I am glad my mam and mother in law got to hear some up to date guidance, how to helpfully support and also unhelpful things to say. I think it was really helpful for that to come from someone else knowledgeable and not necessarily from me!"

🌟"I thought the woman presenting came across as very open and friendly, the environment felt supportive and that I could ask questions freely. I didn't feel nervous in that environment with the staff that were present."

🌟"Interactive, informative and well presented by a great team."

🌟 "The fact it was held after working hours was extremely helpful, it has been the only class my partner has been able to attend. It adjusted my expectations of normal baby behaviour, normalised them and was really helpful and informative- thank you!"

The sessions will run all day between 10am-4pm on a drop in basis! We would love to see you there 🤱🤰

We are so excited that our FREE fun and interactive antenatal myth busting session- "New Borns; New Norms" is returning this November as part of ! If you are a new parent or adding to your growing brood we would love you to join us.
We know that EVERYONE has their own opinions about raising a baby- but what does the evidence actually say? Bring your nearest and dearest; partners, grandparents, friends & family along to tackle some of the most common myths, and explore what really helps babies to thrive.

The perfect mix of learning, laughter and real talk to help you feel confident and supported as you prepare for parenthood. This time we will be hosted by the fabulous One Strawberry Lane ; a state of the art venue right in the centre of town with refreshments provided!
