Today residents have taken cover from the sun and decided to bake some buns in the safety of the shade. Administrator Nycki did her best impression of a British bake off presenter and describe the cakes as fluffy and full of flavour.

Today we said good bye to a true friend of Willowdene our lovely Lily. Lily has been supporting Willowdene for the last 3 years as part of a ‘workplace placement’. Lily has made such a difference during her time with us and will be sadly missed. We all wish you all the best for your next chapter and know you will thrive. Lily will always be part of the Willowdene team.

Residents at willowdene have today enjoyed the garden club and had a competition of who could create the nicest flower bed led by a member of our dedicated team. Our ever so slightly competitive Home Manager Chris was left in the mud when his team was beat by resident Maria and Care Assistant Andrea took first prize. Well done guys you really did blossom.
