A partnership between with North Tyneside Council and Housing 21, will see the new development provide 64 one and two bedroom apartments for rent. The development will offer people over the age of 55* a range of services and facilities including a 24 hour on-site care team for those who need it. A café/bistro, hair salon and communal lounge will also be available on-site for residents and will ope

n to the community when it is safe to do so.

*Residents aged 55-64 must demonstrate a need for the care and support that Housing 21 are able to offer. Eligibility criteria, monthly rent up to 75% (on shared ownership properties), core charges and services charges apply.

We are recruiting for a Assistant Care Manager to join our team at Clifford's Mews (Housing 21). Annual salary: £29,413. 35 hours per week.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
🌟Care planning and risk assessments for residents.
🌟Staff management.
🌟Team management including recruitment and training.
🌟Contributing to quality assurance -staff observations, auditing, etc.
🌟Rota management.
We are looking for applicants with knowledge and experience in:
🌟Understanding of CQC regulation.
🌟Supervisory experience.
🌟Hands on experience delivering care to adults.
🌟 Experience in developing and renewing care plans.

As it's National Gardening Week we wanted to share some photos of our beautiful communal gardens here at Cliffords Mews. With the scheme being just 3 years old, many of the original plants and trees are still just small. But our residents have formed a Gardening Club in recent weeks, and a lot of hard work has been put into planting new and more colourful flowers and plants. The raised planters are even being used to grow their very own vegetables 🥔 It looks fabulous! We can't wait to watch it grow and grow 🌷🏵️🪻🌻🌿

Following on from last week's theme - seaside/North East appreciation. As well as being so lucky to live so near the seaside, here at Cliffords we get to enjoy all the wonderful places and landmarks nearby through locally photographed pictures decorated around the scheme 📸🫶🏖️ Why not pop down to our bistro that is open to the public to have a peak at our wonderful scheme and try one of their delicious meals!
